Hello, noob question here, could you tell me how to see inside a car’s trunk ? I can not find a hotkey in the help menu. Is there a hotkey ? Thanks.

Ye olde “e” key, followed by a direction, same as with picking up items from an adjacent space, or when picking up items from a container furniture you can’t walk into.

The basic launcher books can get you skill up to a reasonable level, 3 in the case of Jane’s Mortars and Rocket Launcher. If you’re using Tank mod, Artillery and Field gunnery can boost it up to 6.[/quote]

Hmm, I think I have both but I thought there was a gap in the skill levels between them. Maybe I’m wrong. I’ll try again.

Hmmm would I see the items in the trunk ? And the small + if there are many ? E + direction does nothing, I tried before asking, but its probably because its empty. I’m not sure

If there’s junk in your trunk, it should be showing the pickup list, yes. >_>

It’s lowercase e, uppercase is to eat stuff.

Sooo… a slime pit spawned right on top of the underground bunker in the necropolis and the lieutenant NPC didn’t spawn. I was wondering, is there any way to spawn him using the debug menu?
Or am I going to have to find another necropolis?

Weird, never seen random mapgens breach the necropolis. You might have to wander a lot, but I don’t think the necropolis is unique…

You know, I’ve had a survivor last for 5 in-game years now, and I have not once ever seen this Necropolis(On latest experimental, just tried the Ambience mod and I’m in love with it). What’s this I keep hearing about it, and where do I find one? I want to see what all the fuss is about.

This sounds familiar. I had set up a previous survivor inside one of these, specifically inside of a Motel that was in it. I turned one of the craters into farmland, and dug a trench all the way around the damn motel to keep zombies out. Underneath it was some kind of empty sewer system that I explored a bit, but didn’t find anything in. Yea, it had a Church, 1x2 Police Station, Grocery Store, craters F***ing everywhere, and a Salon.

Is that what you’re referring to? Because now I don’t see the appeal of it. Is there supposed to be anything special about them?

Regarding one of my questions about installing mods in the game a while ago, I still can’t use them, but I have a good idea why. Before, it would go into the game as normal, but now, it gives me errors saying DEBUG: world uses unknown mod Survivor_Mod(1), or something like that. Same thing with Tank mod. Any help?

Okay, I’ve pulled up that survivor and have now entered the sewers by the Pawn Shop. I’ll let you know if I find anything odd there.

Okay, I’ve found… Some kind of an odd facility. There’s equipment here, trashed cars. Interesting to note, and it goes further down! Shit, how can I have missed this?!

It’s a pain in the ass to find, yeah. If you have static NPCs on, there’ll be some old guard guys who, if I recall, aren’t that happy to see you unless you’ve done a quest chain elsewhere.

Survivor mod isn’t one of the mainline mods last I checked, so you’re trying to load a world that was created with it dumped in the mods folder, that’s been ported to a version of the game that doesn’t have that mod.

And how the hell do you not have tank mod? D:

NOOOOOOOOOOO… welp, guess I should just craft a bunch of Chimera mutagen and kill myself… I couldn’t even finish the merchants questline either because of an unrelated bug.

Or you can travel to a different overmap. It should have a separate necropolis.
