Why is Gauntlet cover less than glove? When I think “gauntlet” I think “heavily armored glove” not “vambrace of the hand” If Gauntlet extended to arm I would understand but it ONLY covers the hand and only 60% of it which makes it akin to a heavily armored finger-less glove. What am I missing here? Also why no vambraces? If for no other reason than flavor. Most archers would probably not shoot without one or at LEAST an arm covering of some kind.

That does seem odd. Although a gauntlet would only cover the back of your hand with metal plating while the rest would be leather or cloth (see here: https://youtu.be/bpurFCdTaqY ), so maybe the 60% is justified by that?

Also looks like Skallagrim just proved you should be able to use any and all gigantic double handed swords as rapid striking daggers.

However, that video is about early metal gauntlets. Later on they figured out how to make better coverage on them. (Fairly certain, at least)

Okay, my solution for this is as follows:

My van is 4 tiles wide, it has a 4 tile windshield in front, as well as two side doors in front and two rear doors in back:

I have curtains installed on all 4 windshield tiles and all 4 door tiles, so I can close all the curtains for this result:

So when I am driving I can open the curtains to see out the front and rear of the vehicle, and when I pull over to sleep or craft and need privacy from zombies I can close all 8 curtains and be hidden.

Also pictured: the luxury RV that I used to add floodlights, water tank, and solar panels to my van.

I have sad news. I tested out shock absorbers and it turns out they fill the armour slot for a tile so you can only use shock absorbers OR armour plating. So they basically suck balls.

Exactly the same as steel plating, hard plating, composite armour, etc, as far as I can tell.

Only a different armour value.

On the subject of vehicle parts… I assume there’s no way to install a gun on a vehicle with mods on it? It just becomes a generic mounted weapon I assume?
