In Soviet Russia, skeleton nopes you? o3o

I thought it also affects dispersion at long/short range, but it doesn’t. All it does is:

Wow. That’s it? Reducing dispersion in exchange for damage at range would be a neat effect.
Assuming the diet is even viable. Most alcohol actually dehydrates (increases thirst), and that is modelled in the game, too. Simply examine various alcoholic beverages and you’ll find negative numbers for thirst. And the ones that provide positive hydration, the amounts are so small that you probably won’t be able to drink enough AND stay conscious. Puking probably becomes a problem before the loss of consciousness.

But what do I know, really. I haven’t drank more than reasonable amounts (in CDDA at least).

I’m assuming all portions of alcohol in CDDA provide the same alcohol content. The $1000 question is how much hydration should a portion of alcohol provide before you’d be able to live off of alcohol (considering thirst only).
Sure, you can’t drink things like whiskey and vodka straight from the bottle for thirst quenching. But a stockpile of the various craft beers and other hydration providing liquors you can find in great amounts from liquor stores and man cave basements are actually quite viable as a substitute for clean water. Drinking in moderation throughout the day in order to quench your thirst helps to prevent becoming a blackout drunk and getting addicted can be a bitch if you ever stop or run out, but it worked for me over nearly 30 in game days. I’ve since gotten hooked on a regiment of honeygold brew and clean water for all my nutritional needs when exploring after stocking up on the components from a nearby ant hill and bee hive.

Plus it has a real-world precedent in that brewing was one common water sanitation method. XP

EDIT: I noticed a thing.

Dare I ask the story behind this? :V

Goof made glitch in the eleventy day and it was very good.

So long as whatever is using this furniture item is using it as a punching bag, I have no problem with this lunacy. Working on a tileset update, so the punching bag is becoming a punching bag.

Is there any point in the military black boxes?

I have decrypted several, but there wasn’t anything useful on them, should i be persistent or they’re all useless?

I might be extremely wrong, but I seem to remember that there was a quest for the black boxes/their transcripts. So…yeah, that would be their (only?) use.

I noticed that i have long fingernails trait, but i have no clue where it is coming from.

Any ideas on that matter?

So far as I have found, they are all exactly the same, and the output has 2 uses:

 1. NPC quest

 2. easy and infinite fuel source (internal furnace, in particular)

Seriously, I’ve used one of those to fill up thousands of bionic units… heh.

Mutation. If you didn’t pick the lab challenge or experiment scenarios, then you got it from either metabolizing radiation, drinking mutagen, or the few other effects that can cause mutation.

This, if you didn’t chomp on any mutated body parts, brew up some mutagen proper or drink a zombie shake. Then you most likely got an entirely unhealthy does of radiation from running around somewhere, toxic waste dumps and sarcophagi are the most likely culprits, but some craters and crash sites are potential sources.

There are a handful of other sources of mutation though. Let’s see…did you explore any caves filled with abnormal quantities of rats lately? owo

What are the stat effects of different drugs?
Need to install some bionics and don’t like my current odds.

Adderall seems to be the best choice for it. Take about four and even an early stage survivor has a decent chance of installing them.

Also, spoilery regarding the outpost.

Once you have done several missions for the nurse, which also requires doing several missions for the foreman, a doctor arrives which can help install and remove bionics.

Outpost?!?
Is that an mod or feature in recent experimentals?

The abandoned ranch, if I recall.

Experimentals.

In order for it to start getting populated, you need to do a few missions from the merchant in the refugee center. He’ll give you the mission as well as the location for the outpost if you haven’t found it yet. As you complete missions for the outpost, structures and NPCs will get added each time.

Likewise, with the necropolis

The soldiers under the necropolis won’t give you missions unless you finish the old guard missions. You need to become a marshal and wear your badge before talking to the soldiers.

yeah, i did that and killed the rat king and all the rats too. What else should i expect now? What happened?
