make sure to ® reload it before attempting to fire it though, tends to be more effective that way

thats odd it shouldn t be reloadable at all.

Last I checked (which is forever ago) bows loaded and fired in the one action, unless there’s a weapon mod for bows which lets you keep an arrow nocked.

Nope, won’t fire my firehardened arrows.
Hmmm, might be a bug in experimental?

Get arrows… It says it’s clothing cause you can wear it.

Spider mutants with Web weaver who can’t sleep in vehicles can remove a vehicle tile where you’d normally have a bed, and spin a web there. It gets destroyed every time you move, but it’s still nice having some nice vehicle walls around you both for obstruction of view and weather protection.

I experienced exactly the same thing - currently playing 2713. I’ll test in most recent build real quick.

Edit: It looks like arrowshafts aren’t accepted as ammunition any more. I guess it really wants you to fletch your arrows.

I’m trying to construct a personal vehicle. Can someone explain the frame shapes to me please. Does it matter if the frames are connected or not? and what are the = H ^ shapes?

Yes, frames have to be connected, and it can’t be diagonally. As far as I’m aware, the shape doesn’t matter - it just affects aesthetics. And the frame will probably be covered by another part soon enough anyway.

So if i just make all frames + shape i should be fine?

and what are the ^ H = shapes?

Frames form the skeleton of your vehicle, like a car halfway done being constructed - all just basic aluminum framework. In order to place most other parts you need a frame to put it on. What the frame looks like doesn’t matter, it’s all just for aesthetics to make it look nice. When you just have a basic frame, the tile shape looks like the frame itself, but when you place another part on top, it changes to look like that part instead. Ie: a frame could look like ^ or = or whatnot, and then if you put a - shaped quarterpanel on it, it’ll look like - instead and the frame will be hidden.

A basic vehicle needs a frame, some kind of seat, an engine, and a fuel source, some of which can be put on the same tile as other parts, though duplicates on the same tile usually aren’t allowed. Ie. you can’t put two quarterpanels on the same frame tile, but you could put an engine, a small gas tank, and a quarterpanel there, and the quarterpanel tile will override the others (engines and tanks have no image, they’re just there invisibly).

Examine a vehicle (e then direction) you find by the side of the road and check out its parts to get a pretty good idea of what’s possible.

To make a vehicle tile considered “indoors” it has to be surrounded center, north south east and west by roofs, quarterpanels, windshields, or doors.

Yes, unfletched arrows aren’t sufficiently accurate to be worth shooting, unless maybe the target’s adjacent to you. (And at that point, just wield the thing and stab. )

Where are honey balls from? I assumed from their description they’re from ant nests, but all I seem to find is Fusion Blasters, Metabolic Interchanges, royal jelly, and regular honey down in the ant nests.

I just found out that a quarterstaff and 11str is enough to bash the card readers apart, letting you get inside rooms in a bunker without explosives or ID cards. I feel silly for using up ten LAWs opening rooms now.

I had no clue that smashing the card readers opened the attached doors as opposed to just destroying the card reader and leaving the door locked.

It doesn’t, but with the card reader being part of the wall, bashing it apart leaves a gap you can go through. And it is MUCH weaker than the glass or wall.

Never thought of that.

How about deconstructing it?

How about deconstructing it?[/quote]Tried that a long time ago, no go on deconstructing anything down there. But bashing the electronics works great. If you don’t use an electrohack and burn it out, you may have to bash it apart twice, once to damage it, then to break it.

Bashing a poor defenseless card reader?! We’ll just have to give the card readers the support they need.

Does using electric jackhammer to bust down the walls in lab / bunker activates the turret defense ?
