Nope, but that’s Alpha category, so you are leaning toward a path.

ahh right. That makes sense. Is the alpha mutation path really worth it? The stat boost is nice, but honestly i’m already OP enough where I don’t think it’d make any huge difference. Intelligence is the only boost I think is kind of important, strength I can do without. Dexterity and perception too.

Edit: Also new question: how does power armor work? I found light power armor and I don’t get how it is supposed to work. I had to take everything off to put it on, but there’s only 16 storage. It’s also extremely encumbering. I built a power armor interface mk II, but even with it on i’m still encumbered.

Turn it on.

Of course! I didn’t realize you had to actually turn the power armor on too. Nice. This is useful.

Does arm (Not hand) encumbrance affect melee? It says in the “@” screen that it affects just ranged weapon accuracy, but when I encumber the arms a lot it says “Your arms are very encumbered! Ranged and melee combat are hampered!” Which one should I listen to?

Is there any use for poisonous/halucinogenic mushrooms?

I mean, except having a new years eve party.

And unrelated question: whats the best season for finding bird eggs?

Spring, less other stuff.

Damn. Last days of summer… brewing alpha mutagen is quite complicated.

What’s the least invasive mutation path other than alpha? I wanna be post threshold mutant so I can stop getting horribly killed by turrets and tankbots. but alpha still counts as human. I’ve been thinking bird might match my playstyle, and the speed bonuses are nice too.

Medical doesn’t make you particularly inhuman. You basically turn into a self-sustaining (and self-dosing) pharmaceutical factory.

Any idea how to get inside gun stores in the O.B experimentals? They all have closed metal doors and windows.

Pick the locks, cut the door/window open with an acetylene torch, or smash your way in via explosives or vehicle.

That’s either an old feature that got removed or a planned feature that never got in.
Arms only affect ranged. If you’re going melee, 2 bindles, 2 shopping bags and 2 briefcases won’t affect you.

but how to deal with constantly mutating and being addicted to mutagen?

…Not every day I post here, but alas, a question.

Is it more space-efficient for you to store liquids in their individual containers, or move them all to one bigass container?

Purify and pray to RNGesus you’ll get a medical run without genetically unstable and mutagen-addiction?

I think there is no difference, but:

  1. 460 aluminium cans kills game speed.
  2. In recent experimentals, unloading cans into larger containers disappears the liquid. At last with cans that do not have number by them.

Is there a way to get rid of a large amount of meat without wasting it from rot.

So, I was looking through the mutations to decide what tree I wanted to shoot for and I’m wondering how common it is to find a specific mutagen type. Or ease to make one, like Lupine.

If you can get into a Science Lab, it’s rare but quite possible to find a syringe for a specific type of mutagen. Glass jars of general mutagen are quite common though.

As for making it, it’s pretty hard. The ingredients are pretty expensive, and you need a cooking skill of 9 I think, as well as 11 or 12 INT (but you can always eat caffeine pills.) Usually it’s more common to find a syringe of the stuff in a science lab and squee with delight.
