Higher mechanics skill increase speed of installation, removal and repairs of vehicle parts?
I’m not sure.

My mass salvage PR got merged.
You can now butcher clothing (and plastic and wood and anything cuttable) without picking them up.
And if you are wondering about where did you get a tiny “got comfy” morale bonus: it’s from warming up under a pile of clothing during sleep and from standing (or better - sitting on a chair) next to a fire.
It was removed (possibly unintentionally) about 3-4 weeks ago. Knife function was rephrased back then and someone either intentionally or unintentionally didn’t include the “make_zlave” function anywhere.
Easy to fix, I’ll write a quick fix and see if it gets accepted.

Really? So its actually nobody can make the pack mule thing from zombie?
Yep.
The entire make_zlave function isn’t used anywhere in the code.
The fact that this change happened about 3 weeks ago and nobody complained up until now shows how much it was used, though.
Also is there any particular reason for the weird/late game loot you can find in spider basements?
Notable stuff I’ve found in them includes: Heavy power armor, a gun complete with compatible ammo, and a (thankfully) inactive laser turret.

This is the most interesting feature for me. Well, any chance for a “Fix”?
Sent one.
If the removal was unintentional, it should be merged by tomorrow.

How can we butcher clothing without picking up? I’m standing on a zombie corpse, I’ve buthcered it but no other thing to do are shown. I’m on 0.B stable.
Thank you
It’s only in experimentals.
I highly recommend playing experimentals, they always have the coolest new stuff.

I’m a nomad so thankfully I don’t have to deal with half a dozen zombears nosing around.
Coolthulhu, great addition there. I’m so happy it’s already merged.
Where do you find rebar now that normal houses dont drop them
Concrete walls or (more common) columns. Or just make them if you have the right tools.
Thanks, I appreciate it.

And if it was intentional, we’d have made a note about the fact.
Compiling now. You’re welcome, all.
How do you use the heavy duty cable/Are they properly implemented in the stable? I keep trying to attach an ice cream cart to a Humvee but the cable keeps coming lose as soon as I start driving the Humvee.
You can’t move either vehicle while it’s attached. It’s not a towing cable, it’s an electrical cable. It makes the battery charges between the two vehicles balance out, which is helpful if you need a charge for your car so you can start it again.
Oh, so it’s just a longer jumper cable. I thought it was for pulling other vehicles -_- there go half of my plans for that character.
