Tips, Tricks, and Newb Questions!

i would also keep a lookout for a toolkit which has almost all of the non electric tools.

I think it’s about time for a new world. Marloss Man Reborn will be coming, but the Solar Roller V will not.

NO ITEM LEFT BEHIND

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Another question, I found a keg of Whisky and I want to fill up bottles with the godly liquid. But if I pick it up I destroy myself with massive pain. Can I unload/funnel it over to somewhere else without picking it up?

Pick up keg,
Unload it into a bottle,
Get shitfaced (to up your strength and reduce pain),
Fill more bottles,
Sleep until healed,
Get shitfaced again,
Fill more bottles.
Also get completely nude to get rid of all weight on you, to help you deal with weight

Just a tip- brawling is relatively easy combat skill to get and if you have it it will let you feint attacks which i believe only does this on enemy that have high doge skill making your next hit easier

As far as lighting your surroundings for crafting goes, the extraordinarily easy to make and maintain light strip lasts longer than most survivors.

Unload it into a jerry can, then fill your bottles from that.

Hey KA101

Just to say I tested the boat spawn and I dont seem to get any.

I checked about 12 different stores and not found one boat nor pump.

Maybe there just a rare spawn not sure.

Thanks

Can you get into a safe without a stethoscope? Finding one isn’t easy (do they spawn anywhere but doctors’ offices?) . What do bank safes contain?

Gold, Silver, money bundles and randomly VERY good CBMs.

I’m sure using explosives would work. If you can find some C4 i’m sure you can blow a nice hole in the vault wall…
And alert every zombie in a 10 mile radius to your presence.

Can you use an acetylene torch?

Can you use an acetylene torch?
It says "you can't cut that" when applying it to a safe. I'll try C4.

Specifically time dilation and probability travel. Oh, and also superalloys, plutonium power cells, power armor, and EXCEEDINGLY rarely RM13.

Definitely needs to be able to cut the safe, unless it’s made of tungsten or something. We’re not trying to get documents, so all those money bundles can BURN - and real treasures are likely to only get damaged, not completely destroyed.

Teh Jacques hammer work quite nicely on safes

Where do you get rebars? I need 2 to build a safe-cracking jackhammer but torching a house doesn’t seem to leave them in the rubble anymore.

I’ve seen rebar in the O craters in the past, but I don’t know if they still appear there.

Rebar is in concrete walls. They can be found either in labs (almost everywhere) or at military bunkers (two small structures to each side of the bunker). Considering you can’t break concrete walls without a jackhammer, and you need rebar to make it, use a couple sticks of dynamite.
It’s a recent change, I even initially made a bugreport at the other board, thought it was the recently implemented wall-breaking system going awry, but no, apparently it’s a feature now.

How are spoilerberry friendly spores supposed to act?
I expected them to take root and give me an army of fungaloids, but instead they just float around preferring to float near enemies (other spores) and angrily do nothing at them. Are they supposed to be idle or is their behavior not completely implemented yet?
