I’d get more, but quick pain recovery and high health (arm burst frequency scales negatively with health) fixed that up.
How did you get 6000 pain? Did you survive?

fungal infection give a lot of pain what decrease your stats and slow you down only thing what i lost is two hands

Just ran into a Brute, at night. Wasn’t prepared for him (newbie character) and tried to run away. He closed, and suddenly, BOOM I was 15 tiles away skidding on my ass, and tearing up my clothes. Luckily he pushed me out of his own detection range and I was able to escape.
I love stuff like that. The Brute push is kickass. Can’t wait to max out my mycus mutations too.

Hi all

Using latest experimentle version and enabling boats I never seem to see any spawn any where.

Do they spawn of do I have to wish for them?

:-/ I just looked and yeah, looks like the mod doesn’t include an item_groups upgrade. I’ll whip one up after I’m done merging.

Militery surplus stores
garden stores ?
sporting stores etc?

Sorry KA101 just to add if you do a spawn code for the boat there should all so be a pump that should spawn to I am sure you know this but just double checking is all thanks again

Shocker brutes and road-block turrets are sitting ducks come nightfall due to their illumination. A fistfull of rifle ammo makes short work of either.

Atomic coffee makers can boil water WITH THE POWER OF THE MIGHTY ATOM! No need for batteries or fires.

Knocking on walls via the smash command can creatures that can’t see you over to the sound of the noise.

On the same note noisemakers and any form of night vision are a winning combination if you want to frag large groups of zeds with one piece of explosive ordnance.

Concerning the non-violent riot bots, I found out that you can cut the cuffs with a knife.

Might be a bug? Or maybe should just take a lot of time. Either way, for now it works.

You also count as unarmed and co-operating if you stand still with empty hands and beat the segfault out of them. Either way a gas mask makes them less lethal than they already are.

in poland it was snowing at start of summer and hot at middle of winter so little snow at second day of spring is nothing bad

Three questions.

1: Playing with 2112. How do I turn Stat Decay to rounded numbers? I just realised I’ve been losing skills heavily whilst reading for something else. Don’t want to turn it off completely though, just bottom it at the whole level.

2: Is there a way of building a console yourself? Or anything else that can illuminate an area without costing me batteries? I got a nice little bunker set up, but I have to double back to the starting shelter to get a light source for reading/crafting at night. Which isn’t exactly great.

3: Best place to find a metal cutting tool? I need to make a silencer and other metal items, where can i find a cutter?

IIRC, I think it’s called “Capped” in options. I don’t know, I really hate skill decay so I leave it off.

Build a wooden stove or a fireplace and fill it with wood and light it. Not really permanent per say, but it’s better than turning on your flashlight and wasting batteries. Or build a lightstrip.

Look in hardware stores and zombie drops. The metal cutting word you’re looking for is a “hacksaw”.

The “Atomic nightlight” is a permanent source of light. Not enough to see your surroundings, but enough to read.

Bit hard to find though. You can craft it, but the recipe is also quite rare.

One’s bust does not get angry, Ninja. No significant cognitive processors there. (Sensory connections is another story.)

But yeah, here in the north it’s not unknown to have snow into April. Coming from 65F and Clear at game start, though, probably a bit of a switch.
