Ooookkkk so I found a reality THING and it started spawning blobs and kreks and at one point a horror. Is there a way to close this thing? I left my APC with the browning on to shoot anything that comes out of it but I really want to save ammo and that horro sponge 4 shots…anything I can do to stop this???
Move location. You can’t, as far as I’m aware, close it and eventually you’ll run out of ammo and those can spawn some really nasty stuff.
Alright thanks. Lucky I dint move everything yet. Gonna start packing my things and leave 2 NPC on guard with the browning while I stash up to leave. Should be enough fire power to take whatever comes out of that hell. Thanks glad I asked first.
Edit: manage to pack up and leave with very little difficulty. You were not joking when those spawn nasty things. But the group and the APC hold enough to leave. It ran out of ammo at some point and had to reload it so there was a step back but all went well.
I believe if it’s not broken, it can assist with surgery. Broken ones will try to perform involuntary surgery on you.
Assist … how? Do you need to hack it or something?
Either hack it or convince it that you’re a qualified doctor. It will then help you with the autodoc. It can also give you a checkup, granting a temporary Self-Aware trait if you stand next to it, apparently.
The nursebot PR, with maybe-spoilers for how it works
You used to be able to close tears in reality the same way as shimmering portals, by using an artifact that recharges itself by destroying portals. Not sure if that’s still a thing in recent builds.
Interesting, I’ll admit my experience with artifacts is fairly limited so I’ve never come across one like that and even among the one’s I have found I tend to avoid using any artifacts I have to activate.
Can thou some one explain to me how those this “camp” sistem work for the NPC? Manage to clear up a military outpost and all its floor and obtain the nice loot. Saved captives and now have 4 NPC. Wanna start making something serius.
- You currently need an overmap field tile surrounded from all sides by field tiles too. Better have forest neaby as that’s your primary source of wood at the beginning.
- If you have suitable location you can tell one of your companion to built a faction camp.
- After the NPC finished building you will have a bulletin board where you can upgrade and expand your current camp. Every upgrade, expansion, or task are worked by NPC through bulletin board. Went they are finished with camp task you need to call them back through bulletin board at the center of your camp.
So it has to be all fields around and a Forrest near…dam well guess I will stay at my old base, a ranch with Forrest close. I will start the base inside the field in the ranch and all. Thanks!
I will use the military outpost as a secondary base
Sorry to be the bearer of bad new, but the ranch fields don’t count. Evidently they’re a different type of field. I was pretty disappointed to learn this as well, so I’ve taken to camping in the front yard of ranches more or less.
Really? Well then dam guess I will build in the front if it. Thought those fields counted
They’re of subtype “ranch” and you need subtype “field”. I think I know a way to work around that, but it needs more coding support.
Would be perfect and great to start camps in ranch fields. It’s sorrounded by a nice barb wire fencing, not the best but makes it look nice, have enough space and it’s close to where you can make your base and all you gotta do is walk to your massive backyard and say hi
And on a side note, is there a way to disable a mod in a world? I just realized I had no big zombies on by accident and want to take it out. And lastly, is it possible to change the evolution on monsters? I placed it at 10 but want to lower it so I can get more danger, just want to make sure it’s possible so I don’t go poking about in files and damage my save or something.
If you wanted to remove mods you can edit mods.json file in “Your CDDA Folder”>Save>“Your world folder”>mods.json and remove the Mod id line you intended to remove.
Fair caution though removing mods that add content could have unintended consequence.
You could also edit your worlds parameter in the same folder in the worldoptions.json. Never tried myself so be careful and backup your save before changing anything.
Oh don’t worry have two back up of my save after the curruption incident I had XD but thanks alot Metro! Will do that
Does someone has info on the magiclysm mod? (in layman terms), i found a book in a mansion but after reading it it said it would lock me out of other kinds of spells, are there classes?
This reddit post by the creator should have the information you need.
Also, you may or may not need to set a keybinding to access your spells after you learn one. I remember needing to.
does adding CBMs affect mana?, i remeber having over a 1k and now i just have 600, or was it the new builds?
