Taking steps freezing the game

Whenever i take a step the game locks up for a minute. This is very annoying while walking or driving. Also this bug seems to have an area of affect in places, so its not everywhere in the “map”.

I think i figured it out. My game is capped at 108 mbs of ram. It refuses to add in more causing instability. Guess my map is too big.

You are most likely experiencing a glitch that occurs nearby “overmap” borders. To see over-map borders and confirm this make a brand new world and after starting the game go into debug menu to select option 4. Reveal Map. You can then use debug menu option 3. to teleport nearby. Walk along or around the bother and verify if those are the same glitches you’ve been experiencing, then walk away and verify if the glitches stop when you are further away.
