Random Suggestion: Suspension, Tires, and Brakes

Just a random idea I came up with. For example, you can lift a cars suspension and change out the tires for more off-road variants to increase off-road speed but decreasing the maximum speed. Different brakes would change the time to come to a complete stop.

I worry about that being unnecessarily complicated, but different wheel types in addition to different wheel sizes could be fun. Especially if snow becomes slippery and bodies of water freeze over in winter. Not sure how useful different brake types would be, since i imagine one kind outperforms all others and cost is no longer a concern.
