Precinct Z json building

I’ve mapped out and json’d a structure using multiple overmap tiles, upon testing I found that the game cannot generate the structure.

I did a search and would like to know if this statement is still true.

I’m afraid we don’t have support for this in JSON yet, you have to manipulate some stuff in the mapgen code to make it happen at the moment. Specifically overmap.cpp generate()

If it is true, would someone be willing to write the building to overmap.cpp

[s]All it needs now is some fine tuning of the balance and a last sweep for critical bugs. The monster spawn rate is varying wildly for each generation of the structure. Here are the files if anyone wishes to try it out.

That was in february 2014, a lot has changed since then.
For one, neither mansion nor evac are mentioned in overmap.cpp.

Pretty sure it could be done now with jsons alone. Evac center could be used as an example of a multi-tile building - it has a 5x5 footprint (3x3 building and a border of roads).

Sweet, now i’ll just work through my typos and errors and get it finished up.

overmap_specials.json would be where you would add the spawning of it. Very good looking building there!

I’m curious, has anyone noticed what map this building is designed from?

I based it off of the police station in Resident Evil 2.

I tried starting inside with a swat officer and met a misplaced turret during this run (fixed) but, would a police station require automated defenses and robots?
