Poisoned clean water?

so i was cleaning some water when i ran out of room to transfer the water from one container to the other, so i took my, what seemed, bugged plastic bottle of clean water (1) and drank it, only to get some really nasty food poisoning, not really anything other to say or show other than this.

I guess he means that this bottle was bugged.

Yeah I guessed, I’m just wondering what made him think the bottle was bugged, just that it gave food poisoning, or that it was some other thing. Some sort of display bug or something.
