Mounted Laser Cannon?

Just wondering if there is a reason why we can’t mount any laser weapons aside from noone having made them? I feel like the TX-5LR or a modded version would be a prime candidate for this.

Blaze made a pile of turrets but never filed a PR. Someone gets it into the hopper, I’d love to take a look.

A side mention, I almost shit myself the first time I saw an antimateriel turret. Though it was an antimatter turret. Would be fun if you could find the stuff deep in science labs, especially if antimatter came in explosive canisters. Maybe could only be used in explosives and fuel. (a timed antimatter explosion should be impossible to survive, remote, sure)
