What it sounds like: my launcher is still on build 8040, and I see that build 8062 is out in the changelog, but the ‘update game’ button is grayed out and I cannot click it.
What do?
I have the same problem.
I deleted the launcher and downloaded the latest version, it works now.
I know I’m late and you folks already figured it out, but I too was having this problem, seems the launcher’s author commented on this Reddit thread.
TLDR: update launcher to most recent version 1.3.15
