Its a good idea but windows is still stupidly broken.
Lots of bugs, odd behaviors, security issues and the registry that isnt worth shit 
.
Not counting the numerous viruses on that os and security fixes that close a window but baits a Cool Aid man to break a wall next to it or just unlocks a door .
Id rather use kde on linux than linux by far and thats comming from someone who use linux has my main computer for everyday tasks and knows ony little about linux.
