However, I am currently in a 3rd world country and I suppose there is no real chance of getting a better internet connection.
In one month I will return home though, so I guess I can wait.

Also: Is it possible to sync my fork with the C:DDA repository, for updating other PRs on my fork, without installing a local clone? Right now, I just delete my fork when I am too much behind and re-fork everything.

There might be a hack way of doing that, but what you really want is a clone of the repo. Search around on stack exchange for the error message you’re getting or a description of the problem, there might be a workaround or alternate client for you to use.
