Hunter, Culler, Predator and such mutations

I wonder if these specific mutations affect not only melee and its variants (cutting, bashing), do ranged skills are also taken into account (marksmanship, handguns, submachine guns) and even dodge? Planning a Chimera character but I want to be sure they are not melee-focused, tank drones are not edible after all.

Anything tagged as a combat_skill in skills.json counts as one. This includes all melee weapons and firearms, but not dodge.

Well in that case defense wouldn’t be a issue then since it will be traded by raw firepower and fast healing by just eating hulks and mi-gos.
