I think it might make you rich if you activate it.
That or make you incredibly poor.
Go see what happens when you trade it with an NPC!
Somebody might have accidentally typed $s instead of %s (or %whatever) in the code, though I’m not intimate with the DDA code.
It seems to be this issue: https://github.com/CleverRaven/Cataclysm-DDA/issues/2639
The code was written for i18n and didn’t consider without libintl.
