Hypothetically if society were to rebuild, it could only do so in small towns and villages, a sort of modern take on medieval life, but post-apocalyptic. If this were the case, my character would probably be a blacksmith and blobkeeper - making weaponry for survivors to use, as well as tending to the blob to create vehicles and utilities.
What. The More Survival Tools recipe shouldn’t be overriding the reverse of the normal sling recipe. Not unless some maniac decided to make the default recipe irreversible…
Im not playing with survival tools on. Its vanilla w/boat and wo/flaming weapons and survivor armor.
There are and have been 2 sling recipes for quite a while, one using string and one using leather and thread.
My current character (at present anyway) has neither mutations nor bionic implants (it’s only been a couple seasons). With that being said, I can see three different outcomes for him.
A: He gets killed/eaten by one of you mutant/bionic abominations totally cool guys.
B: He is one of the leaders of the new government, put into office because of his clean genetics.
C: Finding a space suit and plenty of oxygen, he makes his final backpacking trip into one of the last remaining tears in reality - his wanderlust being the one thing he lived for, and the final cause for his death.

why killed/eaten? some bionic guys will probaly hire you to fight with them to kill non-human mutants, hostille mutants, bandits, mutant bandits, bionic bandits, bionic mutant bandits, hostille bionic mutants, non-human bionic mutants, zombies
or you will be hiring bionic guys to to fight with non-human mutants, hostille mutants, bandits, mutant bandits, bionic bandits, bionic mutant bandits, hostille bionic mutants, non-human bionic mutants, zombies

Us Normies have to stick together. Its our only hope.
No, no, there is no hope. My invisible fancy albino psycho elf cannibal sees normal humans as a meal and a snack, to be washed away with copious amounts of booze.

I meant it has the hybrid mutant/bionic abominations. With regular mutants I could just hide in a bunker, and I could work with regular cyborgs. But when one person has both - they hunger for flesh and have the capability to blast through any defenses I could muster.
We’ll be the ones re-forming the government! Viva la France! (and by France I mean America)
I can imagine my current adventure, being a barbarian, would much rather the world remain in chaos. If one considers the implications of my having set eternal winter on, he may get his wish.
I’d probably just see my guy being some kind of grizzled old war veteran…
Except with Power Armor.
And probably can’t get any sleep due to the unholy amount of comrades killed.
And wouldn’t get any sleep anyways because he’s seen some Lovecraftian s***.
Plus he’s a wolfman mutant… So yeah.
