Oh damn, I just notice this thread since I’m pretty rarely visiting the forum(usually only for asking a question in newb question thread).
Maybe I’m gonna draw some doodles later because sometimes I got some funny moments in the game, plus for my productivity purpose(I’m pretty lack of productivity lately).

Not only does it save volume, it allows to easily check your inventory of flour, sugar, spices, and others without having to count boxes and multiply.

I do it with cardboard boxes, as they almost invariably take up more space than the item they contain. If I’m in a pinch and need both a drink and want to take oxidizer powder or whatever home with me, then I empty out the bottles of those as well.

Of course, this means I have in my RV a giant messy pile of oatmeal, flour, and sugar, but meh, efficiency is more important. At least I keep chemicals separate from food

I always just imagined it being in an impromptu wrapper, like in 7Days2Die when you get seeds of any kind. Where did it come from? The old packaging? a discarded tissue? Strong imagination? Unimportant.

I also imagine it with a small cloth/ piece of string or the like wrapped around it. So basically this:
