Draw Your Cataclysms

Hydrofluoric acid maybe? Maybe not, it’s poisonous on top of being corrosive, but it does have the nifty property of being able to eat through glass.

Superacids!
I am trying to hunt down a wiki article for one particular acid (I think it was an acid) that was ridiculously corrosive in a way that made containing it a fucking hazard. Something about reacting with copper, and then creating a compound it didn’t react with further. But sloshing around the container too much might mean it eats through eventually, anyway. I also vaguely recall a quote on the page about the best spill response method involving a good pair of running shoes.

Jakers’ reply is also correct.

Jakers i nearly fell of my chair xD

I Tried! Did I do it well?

All coloured using my palette :3 (It looks too simple I know)
You may have wondered, what does he use? I don’t have a drawing tablet to use, I do all of what I draw, and traced this with my buggy-ass mouse in PaintDotNet. (it’s a program, not a web thing)
Some parts he drew confused me, like her right hand, so I tried to make them a bit simpler, at cost of quality.
Did I do a good? Is it satisfactory? Any Feedback would be nice!
Edit: This took me 5-6 hours and a lot of my favourite command, Ctrl + Z.

Edit2: I couldn’t resist…

wtf is that acid made of?
Say it and she’ll be there.
It takes that long :open_mouth:

No wonder i never get anywhere with my drawing .

It aparently needs more patience and time then i am currently investing.

So it astonishing that you make so many drawings then.

My usual character (simply named Experiment N, where N is the number of times I’ve died) knows all too well the unfortunate side effect of being alive is having to die. An overarching meta for why the same character is alive each time does make it a bit more immersive, I find.

I wish I could draw… My last Experiment was lost actually due to a save game bug that killed the save. The thing is, I had just found a cache of 32 mininukes in the basement of a lab and brought them topside, she also had a full set of heavy power armor (which is what bugged the game up). I never even got to set them off, but I can picture a clumsy armored Exp stumbling upstairs with a heavy load of nukes and then tripping on the top step, nuking the planet.

It took me that long to TRACE and colour this picture D:
since my drawings are pretty simple, it only takes me 40 minutes - 1.5 hours

That’s a darn shame, I’m never able to get that far in the game recently before I die… Not unless I ramp up loot spawns.

Edit: I should probably show you guys my new Avatar picture!

Mason Jackson is an old (Look through my posts) Cataclysm character that I had gotten the farthest and most attached with, then died in a terrible accident involving A military door, paper, shotgun shells and a lighter; You can see how he ended up in the picture.
Ever since that fateful day I hadn’t drew him again until recently, when I had created The Loop. Now he acts as The Loop’s Guide… and may live on in the cataclysm once more.

Sorry for double post, but It’s time for Back-story

This is how Mason ended up where he is now. If you didn’t read the spoiler in the last post I made and want to know more about Mason, you should probably do that.

If you already did, or just checked, You probably noticed that the last bit there says he’ll come back to cataclysm! I know I’m hyped, are you?!

Loving these little comics, really nice…

they made me think I should do some as well…
hmmm…

Woah! It got foobyduded. d:

Loving the comics FoobyDude. Great attention to detail.
For whatever reason the smear of blood in front of the LMOE shelter door is my favorite part, it really makes a statement that SHIT WENT DOWN HERE.

I’m pretty sure your thinking of Chlorine triflouride, ClF[sub]3[/sub]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlorine_trifluoride

I’m not sure it’s actually an acid, but it is extremely nasty. That stuff burns sand and makes water explode!

Mason Jackson: Aftermath pt 2

That explosion didn`t to to much for him in terms of beauty, but it sure did teach him the meaning of owch.

Thanks man, I quite like your art style

tfw no tablet right now
life is suffering.

anyway, another thing.
stoopid NPCs.

Thought I’d make an ending to that boxers thing for the lulz:

Also YES STEELMANIAC. NPC’s have no intelligence whatsoever other than eating lighters.

On another note, I was thinking of drawing what all my presets characters would look like if they were in a ‘lobby’ together like I portrayed in the above comic. That would be quite funny to draw all my chars derping in one room, but it would take quite a while x3

This totally didn’t make me wonder what Bella would look like in that latex while drawing this…

whelp

AND ARGH I CAN’T REMEMBER IF I POSTED THIS BUT HAVE THIS???
I should try drawing another Cata thing.
