All the minefield that are highlighted on the overmap that i’ve checked so far don’t have any mines.
Are they meant to have mines?
yes, if i recall correctly there was an update that make mines on the road totally invisible or something like that. Unless you have walked along there and you havent found a single one, then everything is ok
There was a change a while back. Minefields no longer spawn randomly in the world, they only spawn at specified locations. Specifically, they spawn at bridges (roadblock thingies) and in survivor houses Those are the only locations I know of.
Mines buried in the ground are no longer visible (unless that was reverted) but mines on roads should be immediately visible.
I don’t know the exact details on any of this, and that change was maybe three months ago? So things could have changed further since then.
