hello, the problem ive been haveing recently is when you make your character the fireman senario (not sure about any others)it dosnt load up it gives me a message that says “DEBUG: could not find starting overmap terrain Fire_station press spacebar…” and it whould be alright if it just didnt let me start in a fire station but it dosnt even spawn them normaly i cant find a single one on the map.
That error is BECAUSE it didn’t spawn any fire stations. That’s part of the trouble with randomly generated worlds, since it’s random, it’s hard to guarantee that a fire station will be generated. A little more work in the mapgen could fix that, but mapgen code is a rat’s nest.
