This gives me an idea. When I make the weaponized religious books, maybe the combat Koran should have explosives built into it so you can attack enemies by blowing yourself up.
Or is that just too offensive?
Yes, yes it is. Most Muslims are pacifists. I was actually slightly hurt by this. To think such intolerance existed is horrible.
I’m pretty sure some polearm weapons have crosspieces though, so it’s not a huge leap.
Except for the fact that the cross pieces are rather small, a foot long at most for halberds. Not to mention the fact that if you shape a polearm like a cross you will end with a very heavy and very out of balance piece of wood and will have gained nothing in exchange.
A giant wooden cross is really a terrible choice for a weapon
Don’t worry, I don’t actually have anything against Muslims. I know the vast majority are perfectly nice, peaceful people, and it’s deeply saddening that a small number are perverting Muhammed’s teaching in such a way. Every religion has these problems, the Christian crusades were every bit as reprehensible as current events in the Muslim world. In time, it will pass.
You are a weird kid in middle school, NW.
Do I detect a case of bullying? If yes, I’m sorry for bringing it up again. I’ve been bullied too. If no, disregard this.
Anyway, I don’t think weaponizing books are really necessary. Unless we have a way of modding melee weapons…
It wasn’t so much bullying, more like I just DEEPLY disliked everyone at my school. And for some inexplicable reason everyone was terrified of me. One day I was walking down the stairs and accidentally bumped into someone. He took one look at me, made the sign of the cross with his fingers, and ran away. I’d never even met the dude. People are so Wierd.

I was thinking more in terms of a relatively small cross shaped end on a metal polearm.
And then one day one of us actually meets you to discover that you are a 7ft-tall troll with poisonous saliva and only one eye. (If the meeter is me please don’t eat me, I promise to not sketch crosses at you [not that they would be affective against trolls anyways.])
We love you Natures Witness, regardless of your past and appearance.
Wait what? NO
What is this? Some sort of cheap unimaginative anime?
Its one thing to have a religious Knights Hospitaler group and one having a bunch of guys swinging giant crucifixes in the air like morons, and no no way someone would shape a pole arm like a crucifix, youll lose all the advantages of having a polearm by doing that.
And remember, the sword of the spirit is the word of God.
Those have a crosspiece which does not mean that they are shaped like crucifixes. Im pretty sure that if you say crucifix polearm you are not referring to any of those, but to wielding and sharpedend giant crucifix.
