Instead I find it funny that its actually slower, heck it should even lessen the stamina requirement since thrusting is less work than swinging the butt of your rifle into something’s face. Its like the difference between jab and a hook in a sense.
I’m pretty sure when you attack with your long firearm you do it mostly with the buttstock, not really by thrusting the muzzle into your foe, hence it requiring around 2 turns, which is too slow for the motion of thrusting. It should still affect things like accuracy and aim speed though.
Either it modifies the stat directly or it grants a technique akin to the RAPID tech to reflect the fact that it doesn’t really stop anyone from doing a buttstock hook or uppercut.
