Any way I can reverse an accidental suicide?

I guess you could say I deserve to lose my character who was doing pretty well in the winter of his first year, by my stupidity of mistaking SHIFT-s with SHIFT-q. And then mistaking ‘Are you sure you want to save and quit?’ with ‘Are you sure you want to commit suicide?’

But it was 4am.

it was 4 am and my eyes felt like sandpaper.

Is there a reverse for this dumb accident?

Unless you have a back up .sav then nope, it’s best to unbind that key to prevent such accidents as committing suicide doesn’t really have a purpose and if you suddenly do need to self terminate you can always rebind it.

i remember when I first started and I was looking at the keys,

"hmm looks like there’s a suicide button…unbinds "

with all the ways you can die in this game I don’t know why that’s even in there…i’d rather just pull the pin on a grenade

The question is…HOW do you commit suicide…if you have no equipment, id like to think my guy spontaneously combusts, or explodes and only leaves a red mist.

Probably the same way NPC’s head randomly implode.
Or
Hold your breath long enough
or
Bang your head on the ground hard enough and repeat until unconscious and then end up in a coma and not get out of coma.
Or
Another dozen ways I can’t think of (for no equipment)

Banging head to the ground might just cause a prolonged death.

A much faster way is to dig out the jugular with your hands. Assuming the character had hands.

Or maybe bite your tongue off and wait until exsanguination.
