Something about the use of Silk, there was a news article where spider silk and skin cells were combined to make bulletproof skin that can repel .22 caliber bullets. Perhaps we could have a high first aid skill to make bulletproof skin patches out of a lot of silk (they made genetically modified goats and worms to make enough silk to make the things), and it could make some kind of lightweight Kevlar vest. And yeah the silk extruding thing could make it more possible to make the stuff.
