It seems to be a problem of all wild animals right now, you can just stand near wolves/webspiders/wplfspiders/bears/moose without risk of them attacking you (and even if they turn hostile they will just move around you without attacking).
Also related is the fact that cat and dogs are now to shy to get near you and its impossible to feed them (the deep dog may have the same problem)
