So I started a build that I thought would be pretty fun.
Moderate difficulty: LAB clone. Mutate specimen, primed.
Base stats, no modifiers
Robust Genetics
No skills.
The back story is that this is a ‘blank’ for Genetic modification. Grown in a lab as a standard of testing.
Outskirts of town on the eastern side, suburbs between the shelter and first row of shops. Unfortunately the undead spread out this far, had to contend with a z-dog in the first dozen turns. managed to nab a pipe from a locker and meet the dog in the window. He had friends, 3 of them to be exact.
Took some heavy damage from that fight. I had to move fast, a skeleton and an assortment of Z’s were headed my way as well. Dropped into the basement and found a pair of pants. put those on really quick and nabbed a cola as well (after that fight with the dogs I could barely outpace the Z’s)
Skirted the town to the south and found another evac shelter much further out with a suburb nearby as well but it was unmolested by the undead.
after a day of looting I worked my way south to the other evac shelter and read by the console light until midnight, decided to call it a day and try and get some rest
^ Yeah better to apply Bellisario’s Maxim to it. If you dont you end with something like that. At best a severly psychologically broken “man” if you can even call it like that or at worst a mindless monster only human in form

so two things are happening:
First; ZOMGWTFBBQ is up with all the zombie dogs 10ft outside every evac shelter?!?! not really a complaint but wow, worst luck EVAR. over a dozen starts with my clone build because I kept getting shafted by the rng and man are there a lot of dogs now. kinda hard to survive when you’re armed with a pipe and are naked xD
Speaking of luck: 90% of every zombie i’ve killed in the more successful games have been female. this includes bra’s and panties and shorty shorts on EVERY freaking zombie. at first I thought nothing of it and just assumed coincidence but man, after awhile the counts are pretty off.
latest experimental as of 5pm today…again, not ranting or raving, just thought it was interesting

mwahahah! my clone is now mutating into AWESOME! so many purifiers…so many mutagens…he’s turning into a Prime.
also, 6 or so army squads found…first one was 10ft outside the evac shelter. gear is totally a non issue now
