What's Happening in YOUR Randomly-generated Apocalypse?

To be correct, I’m bear-eared marshal XD But yes, that’s what I am. Some wrong mutations happend couple of times, accidently making me ursine like. In fact, I’m going to become cephalopod.

Being marshal is so cool. Now NPC’s call me marshal and a criminal-related NPC’s say “I ain’t do anything wrong”.

Night 1 of a new game. I wanted to finish more of the doom areas first, but I wanted to play a bit more.

Ive been wandering around suburbia. Theres craters tearing apart the interior of the city and where I am, meaning I cant get to the juicy bit inside the city. Like the electronics store. Which means Ive been stumbumbling around blindly hoping that I can find stuff.

I found adequate clothing, but finding healing items, storage, and electronics and a car have been difficult. Ive been hounded by hordes the whole way too. The hordes keep pursuing me and preventing me from doing an in-depth search in the dark houses. Ive had my head beaten to a / and now Ive been starting fires like there are no tomorrows. Ive killed a few Zmen with a steel chain before I found my wood axe, ffs. Not doing so hot.

But, as a result of me torching whole neighborhoods I did have zombies suiciding themselves into the fires as the noise attracted them. Some of them dies in such a way that I just got my hands of a flashlight, and in the full light of the fires there are no pursuers. Not too bad, I really need some healing and the respite.

my army is bigger now, 3 dermatriks now guard my home, 1 dermatrik is powerfull enought to kill zombear without taking damage, i hope they fit into pet carrier if yes and i find some of them i will be unstopable

I think they are small sized. So yes they should?

Manhacks - that’s what make me unstopable. Easy to produce, easy to repair, easy to carry, deadly as fuck.

i know, i know but i want something different

Manhacks are weak to electricity and not slow infantry.

They run out of steam if the zoms upgrade into something capable of ranged attacks or competentcy.

Zombies are lower melee skill, low speed, low hitdice, zero range monsters which make them ideal for the manhacks. iirc manhacks only have 1 dodge. what makes them so dodgey is that they can strike and move a tile or more away before the zombies can act.

screwed up instalation of probality travel and gained bird wings
used purifer and used random mutagen insect wings
who need manhacks?

when you have dermatiks?
Well, it looks like we all have our signature allies. Dermatiks, manhacks, and for me fungaloids.

Fungaloids are suicide bombers - they can’t do shit in combat, but once they die they release a very damaging spore burst. One or two is usually enough to kill an enemy, and I can get hundreds if I entrench myself.

Mycus Man, do you take heat damage?

Can lava blister you or hurt you if you walk into it?

I do take heat damage, it’s one of the few things I have to look out for. Especially when triffids are involved. But keep in mind that due to near-infinite bionic power, pain and damage can be instantly repaired.

Also I have a three-week time stop for use in an emergency.

The Emergency is when a meteor falls from the sky and he needs to leisurely walk out of the impact zone.

Encountered my first ever Elie Grenadier Zombi guarding all alone a wreckage if some sort.
Stopped my “Tonka”( a 6x6 Panzer truck ), toke my semi sniper riffle out and approached it together with my loyal NPC friend who does wonders with his machete.

Before we are in range it start to spam drones ( so freaking awesome ). That alone was enough to get me scared and we run back to the truck while shooting the drones that trying to attack my friend. Both back in the truck 2 drones down and some still airborne I kick Tonka in gear and go full throttle.

The grenadier dies on impact followed with 2 explosions that luckily don’t damage the truck. After the smoke settle down I search the area and find a EBM that allow me to go thru walls.

Love this game!

I currently have about 210k power, 600k power max. A good 400k came from when science labs were FILLED with monsters, which includes zombie scientists and bio-ops.

I have never run into a problem that my godlike stats or my 8-10 commonly used bionics can’t get me out of.

one of my old character lived in that times too (good day when fire extinguishers were edible too)

butchering his body after he died

i tried to resurrect that character but it was so boring to install all those cbms after butchering

TIL lost souls packs will annihilate heavy armored frames if you ram through them

Witnessed a mi-go go on a rampage at a mall (the huge red ‘M’ mall build). It started picking lone zombies at the outskirts, and then advanced further in. I, in turn, maneuvered carefully at the outskirts of my vision range, just so I could see how many it would take out. It positively gutted at least 20 zombies at the parking lot, one by one, but at that point the other zombies started to gang up on it, and the mi-go was facing an ever-growing number of mall zeds. I expected it to get surrounded and die, but no. When it was surrounded from 7 directions (out of 8), it was wounded enough to flee, which it promptly did. And the mass of zombies followed. The fleeing mi-go pulled a group 30-40 zombies into the woods after its wake, almost to my direction. The trees blocked my line of sight, so I can’t be sure what transpired in the woods or what the fate of the mi-go was, but I did also notice a bear there, that started to fight the zombies. It took out at least 5 before succumbing. Meanwhile, at least 10 zombies thought I was more interesting than the 40mph mi-go, so I decided it was best to leave.
