What's Happening in YOUR Randomly-generated Apocalypse?

Yeah, I like giant wasps. They’re worth 10 regular zombies in a fight.

Adorable little buzzy nopes. Now, to raid another gun store. While passing by another animatronic-filled hellhole of a pizzeria. How fitting that the music I started listening to picked some ominous stuff now. :V

I found a farm. When I opened the barn doors, I was attacked by a cow. Also, there were 4 dogs and a horse inside the farmhouse bathroom. This struck me as odd, but who am I to judge?

This hardware store. This bathroom in this hardware store. This trash can in this bathroom in this hardware store.

Dare I ask why there is a 55 gallon drum in the trash can?

EDIT: Circumnavigating this city to scout it out more fully, I found an atomic mini-tank in the northeast outskirts. Treads are out, but it otherwise looks to be in good shape. And…oh. Yessss. The main gun is in working order.

EDIT 2: That NEVER gets old.

Screenshot:

EDIT 3: Sweet zombie Jesus, there’s also a necropolis not far from this city.

The drum is the trash can?

Nope. The drum was IN the trash can. And now…this city. I STILL hasn’t scouted it out in full. When I get a full outline I’m gonna get a screenshot of how fucking huge it is.

Day 26. Returned to base, and sorted out all the items and I continue the winter expedition.

Took less than a day to plow through back to base and a day to sort all the items out. The rest of the season will be an atomic coffee fueled journey.

Speaking of more things that simply don’t work for Evilexecutive; who has played this game since O:A, and has never even seen a Thriller… I’ve never seen anything inside those Abandoned Pizzeria’s either. Okay, maybe ONCE, when they were first introduced to the game, I found a bunch of animatronics in there, and killed them all.

I’m going to chalk that up to… I don’t even fucking know at this point. I’ve never seen an Irradiated wanderer, even though I’ve set up a base unknowingly on top of a necropolis for 5 ingame years. I literally haven’t seen an animatronic for over a year. I’ve never seen a thriller, and what else?.. What else isn’t working for me that everyone else has seen?

Well, I now know what song will fit the mood if you ever do get abandoned pizzerias to work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTDBcQiDO9w

And yet amusingly, nothing came running out of that one I passed by.

New Game. Found a car with no gas, and every other car in the world was guarded by Zeds or wrecks. Without armor I cant take on a single zed; I aint got the skill.

Found an elctronics store. Gas still holding out, but with 0% gas its on fumes. Found a soldier in the back room, which I broke into. Fire was set, and I took a tattered set of rags from it. Better than nothing.
The store itself was a new design, more reminicent of a Best Buy than the usual affair of an empty floor and thousands of goodness-giving batteries. Found a head lamp at least.

Got infected while hallucinating. The zombie seemed as fake as the rest until it took a chunk of my thigh out. Crap, I have no disinfectent.
Worse, I forgot to clean it, the pain being a risk while in the city.

Got out of the little suburbs I was in. I rest at a farm enough to get an actual green infection. Theres a pharmacy and hospital down south. Maybe.
Nope. The pharmacy was empty of antibodies. The hospital was full of annoying boomers and dangerous spitters. I reversed my car into the wall of the hospital to avoid the front entrace. Dont have the skill, weapons, armor, or time to play Silly Buggers with the Reception Desk staff.

Got cured after some ordeal. Found several road maps, and found a city to the far north-east. However, I must travel north-west to get there, as its the only road out of town.

Found 2 military roadblocks, staffed by turrets. Drove around one and through the other. Yup. I backed my car up to the treeline and floored the car. Wolves began chased me as I took off, and although I lost what windshield I had left I got by. The wolves? I dont really know, but I heard gunshots well after the blockade was out of sight.

Found a military humvee with some diesel in it. Gonna take. More storage, larger, heavier, more armor, a turret, and easier to upgrade.

= = = = =

OMG ITS CHRISTMAS \o/

First the antibodies, then the humvee, and now purifier and laser turrets! The happies I am experiencing at finding a laser turret on Day 02 are palpable. And I was just thinking that this was a bad start, too.

I mean, who doesnt want to start their morning throwing up from an old infection, drinking contaminated water, eating a cold, cold cooked burrito, and washing it down with some chardonnay?

Still day 26. Spent a massive amount of time deleting map notes, upon discovering that I can toggle the map tile as explored instead.

Damn, you should’ve tried slapping a first aid kit on it. :V

For the first half of the winter expedition, harvested a total of 1,300 pieces of human flesh. Found two ice labs that had a lot of human corpses to butcher.

That’s 325 corpses. Seriously? That’s not a “lot” of human corpses, that’s CRAZY.

That takes some serious effort, all in the name of out-eating the undead. :V

As I started once winter began, about 20% of those is not fresh. They’re not old or rotten, but they’re not fresh - off they go to become smoked suckers and other non-perishable meals. There’s still 19 days before the end of winter, and I reckon I can get close to the same amount if I find more labs.

Goal-wise, I’m about halfway there in getting a standing tank of human broth. A standing tank can hold 1,200 servings of broth, so I need about 6k more human bones to fill the tank up. Filling up a tank of soylent green and soylent green shake (plus a barrel of shake for consumption) was easy since soylent powder comes in multiple servings. One human broth is only equal to one serving, so I still need to butcher every corpse and NPC I can find. Sap soup in comparison will be easy, as I can use normal broth to make it, and normal broth is easy to make as I got a massive supply of vegetables and wild herbs to make the broth.

Even then, a standing tank of human broth is still easier to attain than filling up a wooden keg of liquors like pinot noir and whatnot.

Damn, you should’ve tried slapping a first aid kit on it. :V[/quote]

On day 1 I was using a homewrecker because the other options were pointy sticks that keep degrading or the maekshift crowbar. :frowning: I was lucky to have asprin.

Ive detoxed in an empty fire station. Dunno why it was empty, but all the zombies were at town hall raving about how awesome it was to smash apart vehicles, so I parked my damaged humvee inside and began skilling up. Level 4 mechanics so I could fix the Yellow battery that requires a jump start every time I left it alone, and level 5 so I could fortify my crap well enough. Wow. soldering XP was hella-nerfed, and Tailoring success rates seem nerfed too. I spent all night one a steel spear, with it failing or suceeding :expressionless: Not impressed game. Thats annoying as all hell, especially for an alcoholic who has to drink every hour or so or else suffer the shakes and/or hallucinations.

Speaking of. Ive begun detoxing. Ive noticed of late that low morale doesnt stop you from using sewing kits or whatnot, or even from reading. But you wont get much experience because you focus tanks quite quickly. So, as I begin to dip into my assorted nonperishable foodstuffs, I sit back and fortify craftable items. I sleep for 3 hours when I need to make a new item, because right when you wake up your morale is high enough to do so even if you havent had a drink.

HORY SHIETU

Oh good lord what have you done? D:

EDIT: Cut into this evidence room and all I got out of it was a pair of trench knives.

I’ve never run into a Thriller in all my days of surviving.

So just to prove I could, I killed ten dancers.
