What's Happening in YOUR Randomly-generated Apocalypse?

Christmas came late this year, in the form of 2 barrels of single malt whiskey. I found them during my initial excursion, and since I plan to leave town now that I have 3 mech and 5 tailoring and all the tools to make a welding rig I figured I spend my last hallucinogenic night in the pleasant town of SURROUNDED ON ALL SIDES BY FUNGUS-BURG getting the last thing worth taking.

Well, tbh I found a firetruck and chem lab, but theyre at dangerous intersections.
Been playing my lumberjill for a month and a half. Traded my Katana for a Nodachi! She is starting to get some decent armor all the early game good stuff and a few bits of survivor gear. Turned my security van and the two humvees near my first base into a Military composite armored RV of doom, Im calling her Mobile Organization and Tactical Home Rig, or M.O.T.H.R.(mother) for short. Picked up a couple of survivors, lost my dog, i think i squished it… Currently driving around looting and looking for a place to set up a permanet base.

I cant get my shitty laptop to take a screen shot, and if the print screen key is even working i cant find where its putting them -.- once i figure that out ill post a pic of my rig.
Get Puush. It’s amazing. Time to fuck with people by actually using it.

Not sure if stupid or brilliant. Or both. Stupilliant?

Yes.

Need to rearrange the cannibal cuisine table with the addition of soylent powder. Thinking of using standing tanks to store all the liquid cannibal stuff, for starters.

Also, corrosives seem to have become stronger again. Fended off a horde around the ground level of my base, and my survivor has her legs melted off. Waiting for her to get tired, as she drank quite a bit of atomic coffee for a crafting session so she can sleep and heal. Aside from that, she’s moving relatively normally as the pain has gone down.

at middle of summer i killed some giant arms, it looks like i eat 100 meat jerky per season and i have something about 600 meat jerky
with funnels and galon jugs i do not out of water too
and i still have a lot of books to read

Hmm, spiced mead has more servings than strawberry surprise. Half as nutritious and a point lower in quench, but more enjoyable. Not exactly easy to craft as honey combs can only be found and the brewing time is really long. Still, as long as there’s an excess it’ll be part of my survivor’s daily diet.

With all the human flesh my survivor has hoarded, filling a standing tank with soylent green and soylent green shake should be easy. In general, a cannibal survivor could probably live off a diet of soylent green shakes.

I left the door open on my Evac shelter while I slept. There is a bear in there, that I can’t do anything about. I don’t know what to do.

FTFY

Raided a Lab and managed to get to the lowest level before the Security Bots destroyed all the delicious loot that spawned…

Punch him until he is hostile, sprint outside, light a fire.
Or throw stuff at him until her turns hostile and lure him onto a bush and light it.

Use fire though. outside fire.

For both soylent green and soylent green shake, it takes 1,200 servings each to fill a standing tank. Whew, that took a while. Crops have been planting… the ones that don’t rot will stay until the end of autumn, as it seems that their numbers build up over time.

Don’t know what to do with all these excess seeds, though. I mean, I can keep 50 of each maximum in case of something going wrong, which is doubtful to happen, and right now I got several hundreds of some types of seeds which is kinda bulky as the number will keep going and going up. Strawberries and blueberries are at the thousands, too…

Also, got excess soylent shakes. Hundreds of 'em. Perfect timing as it’s a crafting season and hallucinating from too much drinking is somewhat annoying during these moments.

My survivor will never drink clean water for as long as she lives.

We need a recipe to turn seed into snack. or a set up furniture to make compost/

Haha, he was already really weak from fighting cougars, wolves, and presumably other bears for dominance for the shelter. Obviously, he won, but he was badly wounded. Fortunately, I read some skill books while I was intruding on his space, crafted a short bow, and savaged him.

Unfortunately, he broke a window. I think that I’ll want to reinforce my windows somehow, but I would like an option that still lets light through. Any suggestions?

Put stuff in the way. You has lockers, rght?

if not level up contruction and build a bookshelf.

Or remake the window

or build a vehicle and then put a borad in it. thats actually pretty cheap and renewable. its just a frame or light frame and a sheet metal.

Build a one-tile vehicle over it. Frame with a quarterpanel/heavy duty quarterpanel will let light in but you can’t cover it up. Alternatively, you can install a sheet of glass/sheet of reinforced glass to make windshields instead, and you can install a sheet on that vehicle tile so you can cover it if need be. Cheapest would be to use sheet metal and make a shutter door.

Glass windows pretty much break on one hit, and those alternatives will last much longer when there’s something knocking on the other side. Can’t really reinforce a window and leave the option of being able to open it, I think.

Lets out scent though. So do eventually fix it up or not sleep by it

Spring, day 63, night.

My alter ego’s done looting the eastern town. The only thing of interest in the immediate area is the home improvement store. I’ll probably go there once I’ve unloaded the shit from the scooter.
