What's Happening in YOUR Randomly-generated Apocalypse?

Just spent several days binge-reading The Art of Glassblowing, which apparently taught me how to properly operate my anvil to forge a barbute helm that I had the recipe for in another book. Now I’ve got that padded with kevlar and leather, in order to get almost half the protection for my head that I have for the rest of my body when I wear my battle armor.

Considered forging a great helm instead, but I didn’t want to encumber my eyes that much. It’s already a pain to pull off my PBA mask when I want to shoot, I don’t want to lose my head protection for it. I might reconsider if I decide to actually fill my UPS and have the suit run off of it, as that would eliminate most of the storage space in which I would keep my M1911.

Light survivor mask is your friend.

Meanwhile, I’m moving the controls to the gunner’s chair and removing the commander’s position so I have a neat alcove for my bed. X3

stuck at the very bottom of a lab 6 floors down, cant seem to figure out what i need to be able to climb up the hole in the ceiling, tried with furnature under and next to the hole but still wont let me

I think you mainly need a long rope or grappling hook.

that didnt work
hrm one last thing to try before i cheat my way up
nope didnt work

Did try a grappling hook?

there wasn’t any grappling hooks down here

;A;

this lab is looking to be a dissapointment 4/6 floors were the boring 3x3 map tile size with nothing at the bottom except for a room with a bunch of monsters in 1x1 containment chambers

Ouch. That would be the point where I pick a more Fun scenario. ;w;

looks like there are armories here so i hopefully will have a gun when i get out of here

And more mininukes? XP

doesn’t look like there will be any in this lab but i did find a dynamite inside a box

also found 2 guns in the first armory I’ve encountered

M240 and M4A1 and some ammo for both

Dyamite should work, ja. ^^

I picked the failed cyborg start, and now 13 days in I’ve finally removed the last of the bad bionics.

I had tried to remove me Acidic Discharge once before nearly killing me, so I had to raid a Regional School library for books about electronics, first aid, and mechanics, so those skills are at six now.

Edit: And now I’m dead, Zombie brute bashed me into a wall, dealing 180ish damage only to my head.

May I present to you…

This thing’s gonna take me the damned long route to the overrun prison, to finish the next quest the NPC gave.

EDIT: Muahahahah. Depleted uranium, meet dino. Dino, meet depleted uranium.

grazing hit? damn!

Such is the power of 120mm. And…nice. X3

EDIT: Why must there be a lava rift in the middle of the road? -_-

EDIT 2: Solar car with upgraded panels, sweeeet.

M4A1 or H&K 416A5…

only difference is that the M4A1 has a higher burst and shorter reload yet the description says the H&K is designed to replace the M4

Burst fire is overrated. ;A;

EDIT: Got into the town near the prison, what’s there to greet me? First a pair of turrets, which I handled by dashing behind a cop car and lobbing EMP grenades. Reinforced plated leather armor FTW. And then past that, I find an MBT. Man, seeing that makes me realize just how small Stug Life is since I trimmed it down.

EDIT 2: And then a crash. Upon re-entering town after loading, the area genned other stuff instead of that tank. ;w;
