Decide to update to newest experimental for a new game…

Latest experimental has terrible flickering in menus-- entire window refreshes each time the selector moves. Annoying.

I’ve finally reached Unarmed 4, and it’s freaking me out a little bit–lower level z’s keep coming close and then I’ll just kill them with a counterattack, so I keep seeing then just die without any action and looking around for the hostile npc.

Doh. Does help to have ammo, unless you plan to point it at enemies and yell “pew pew pew!” at them.

EDIT: What the hell, now I need a pipe for cannabis? I miss being able to just cram it down my character’s piehole hashish style. >.<

Hmmm, so far there’s a decent number of military outposts and mines around the area.

Heading for the mines first since they’ve got lots of human bodies to cook. Need to hurry before the meat rots; already got enough cooking skill to try making amoral aspic. Got a ton of clean water from raiding a motel vending machine, so I’ll just harvest the mines to get what I want. Alls I got to worry about are dark wyrms and they’re easy enough to manage.

Rock salt, huh. May make some jerk jerky as well, but aspic is probably what I’ll go with. Not sure if aspics and jerky can be made with rotten food anymore, but I don’t like using the rotten stuff. I want my meals made from fresh, or at least unrotten ingredients.

game make up your mind

leave the armory and climb up another set of stairs… into another armory with 40 shots for the M27 and an aditional 75 for the M9
with a .45 handgun and ammo for it too

Almost died. Military outpost, sniping turrets from far away. Searchlights buzzing about, and I completely forgot the range of a turret assisted by light. Somehow, turret only managed to almost shred only one arm.

Just rip up any book you find to make some rolling papers and you’re set. Nothing like carrying 800 joints with a net weight of 0.
