Found one hell of an artifact. Intelligence is reduced by 3, speed is reduced by 20, and for that I’m invisible. No nether attention, no radiation, no telesickness, just two fairly minor things when compared to the positive effect of the skill.

I would view the speed thing as pretty significant, but that’s still awesome.

I slept next to a swarm of zombies in the middle of a small town, out in the open, with cranial flashlight on. Nothing touched me.

As awesome as this ring is, I’m putting it on forced retirement since this pretty much breaks the challenge.

Amazingly broken, so definitely retired. It just says what stats I gained/loss when I equip it, unless you’re talking about techy stuff of which I have no idea.

Artifacts with a charge usually start off with a charge. The ones you can’t equip usually just charge while they’re in your inventory, and the ones that have to be worn/wield charge when they’re worn/wield, I think. It’s either time, which could be an hour, or just a turn which causes pain or damage.

Anyways, started a new games to freshen things up, and try out centipede style. From my initial experience with it on this run, it seems pretty effective. 14 strength, 12 dex, and if I get the first hit in I get around 4 good hits at a zombie before it could attack, and that’s at zero skills on anything.

So, it’s going well, raiding a nearby apartment. Got no crowbar, so I’m stuck with smashing doors open. Last door down, I smash, and I notice there’s a sound on the other side. Must be another zombie in this isolated area, oh well.

Smash, smash, smash… tank drone to the face. End of story.

In any case, centipede seems fun.

At 3 unarmed centipede seems to cost 26 move at the lowest, which I’m guessing is good.

Personally i’m still going through Aavak’s Second Wave LP and checking twitch to see if people are streaming CCDA occasionally.
typically catch someone every/second day and i do find the various playstyles quite entertaining.
I’m looking forwards to yours
