Loving the FTK-93. Been wondering if I’d ever chew through the ammo I found for it then BAM! Horde just a hop skip and a jump from the refugee center. Met it in town and went hog wild, blowing up cars and burning whole sub-divisions to the ground. Instead of pulping the piles of bodies (the ones not reduced to ash) I’ve just been carpet bombing the area with additional fusion blasts hoping most end up as cinders…
Like, how will you ever know for sure what you eat if you don’t raise your own cattle and slaughter it for food. Prove that the burger you just ate didn’t contain human flesh. Or worse, the flesh of some other animal. How many people go missing each year again? What do animal shelters do with all the animals? Do the energy costs and carbon emissions from the local crematorium match the number of cremated dead people and animals there? Oh, what’s that? The costs and emissions aren’t being monitored, recorded or published? Ok. Moving on… Are the rat poison sales figures in correlation with the local rat population, or does your local rat population remain suspiciously low, even after you take the reported cat (predator) population into account, assuming the number isn’t falsified, because your mayor wants to feed people rats? Or how will we ever know we aren’t used as a test group and fed artificial meat that was being developed at some point? Also, disprove the existence of underground human ranches. Oh, and is it cannibalism if you secretly dispose corpses, mixing them in the cattle feed you manufacture industrially, and then later enjoy a beef at a local restaurant?
I’d eat pretty much any animal, truth be told. I still really want to try monkey brains after seeing it on ‘fear-factor’ or some othersuch gross-out challenge. As for people? I’d eat recycled folks without much fuss at all. Like if the guy from soylent green ran in with his ‘it’s made of people!’ bit I’d just sort of go 'It’s cheaper than lean ground-beef though." I’d still want to see the macros though.
I eat balut regularly, so I’m game to taste anything as long as it’s legal and tasty.
For a while I mulled over how cost effective ‘adopting’ puppies to a good home would be, if I were simply to eat them straight away…
Wouldn’t it be more politically correct to simply go out hunting in the woods? or is it too hard to control oneself in such secluded circumstances.

Just seemed more economical. You can’t reliably pick up beef with just a fib or two.

EDIT: Well, updated to latest version on the laptop too. Whereas I ported Bork Borg’s save, I think for the laptop game I’ll start anew. Maybe an innawoods character…gimme suggestions. :V
Winter start? Experiment so I can be a mutant? Wilderness so I can play a Wanderer? Neeeeed input.
EDIT 2: Going with 10x monster spawns, minimum size cities, winter start with 91-day seasons. owo

I’m currently camping indoors with wondering hordes around me with badly injured torso & head and the “Slow healer” trait… third day for this toon methinks.
got rekt by a shocker trying to craft some pebbles for my slingshot on the go, so careless… Took him out with a pointy stick of all things.
Oh and those bloody earth worms rekt me before that, For some reason stepping in the shrub i killed it in damaged me like crazy!
Must be the stomach acid or something along those lines O_Q That thing is massive under the ground afterall… ( not to mention the fact that it teleported away from where the dirt mounds were, a new feature i’m guessing. scared the shit out of me xD )
And I know, for extra baby-ness I turned Mundane Zombies on. Even though I’ve intentionally staying innawoods anyway AND turned 10x spawns on, so you’d think it wouldn’t matter.
