Not sure exactly how good the ‘stem-cell treatment’ actually is but it has certainly taken care of it aswell
On a side note, There’s no drawbacks to using rollerblades as a ranged character ( Beside having to stick to the road )
Like, They don’t nerf accuracy do they?
Found two more artifacts from a strange temple via cheating due to jackhammering through a nearby bunker.
One’s a bladed staff. No charges. Minus 20 speed, calls upon bad weather, but protects mental state and electricity. Not too bad. Even with the speed reduction, due to mutations, base move cost is still a bit better. Whacking enemies with it will still prove troublesome, but I might get a win against the amigahara.
Other is a helm, nether attention and electricity protect. Ehh…
Just found a unicycle in a parking lot, spend the day speeding up trough the city at 40 km/h shooting zeds.

Now all you have to do is strap a V12 engine onto that unicycle.
I finally decided to up my game on an extremely well-established character.
61 Mechanics, a library of a bionics menu, and my ever-handy A7 laser rifle running off of UPS.
I had been disappointed with the lack of challenge I found from clearing cities, so I did what anyone would do:
Increased zombie spawns from 1.00 to 50.00.
Now, with zombie necromancers and zombie masters, trying to butcher zombies is neigh impossible, let alone me attemptting to eradicate the homegrown hordes. I’ve already given up on trying to fortify any aboveground structure in this newly-generated city at this rate.
Also, smoke. SMOKE EVERYWHERE.
Cyberhulk can enjoy his human ally reading to him even while wearing noise-cancelling headgear. Annoying, he can also hear her griping about lack of sleep.

Acid bombs are your best friend in disposing massive-spawn rate hordes. That or go niten+katana+melee god skills. Lots and lots. Chain lightning’s good, too, since firing that in a cloud of smoke is guaranteed to hit a lot of something.
Yeah. Getting nitan would be nice (not sure if there is a book, but I haven’t found it if it exists). For now I’ll have to stick to burst-fire and occasional karate. Maybe I’ll try fencing?
Chain lighting at this stage feels a little… disappointing. Spamming it in map tiles full of fungaloids doesn’t quite have as big of an effect as you’d expect. Throwing manhacks at hulks is good for a laugh, though.
You’ll find the book for niten in mansions, as well as fencing. Book of Five Rings for former and Modern Swordsman for the latter.
Chain lightning can be good on crowded streets and indoors. Spamming it can kill most zombies.

I’ve been running at 20x spawn for a long time, and the new zombies in the experimental built have pushed me back - I’m trying 5x, might go back to 10x at some point, but the glowing stuff makes night-time raids basically impossible on high-spawn, and I don’t feel like spending forever on edge-of-town attrition.
Don’t get me wrong, that’s a good thing - walking through massive hordes and then going to back to butcher them all gets old, anyway.

There are unicycles in the game now?
Having fun with the heavy rail rifle once again. Went on a crafting binge and made 2k steel rails. I could only carry a small fraction of that on-hand, but it’s pretty much death on most things.
-Started the game as an Infected Janitor
-Been going house-to-house to find food, water, and a safe place to sleep
-Survived for four days, things are rough but I’m still alive
-Night 4, went to sleep in a relatively infested part of town
-I’m worried zombies will break in while I sleep
-It doesn’t happen, my janitor can sleep safely the entire night
-The next morning (it’s still dark), I decide to go out and loot the antique shop next door
-Daylight comes sooner than expected, I’m in the middle of the street and worried about the zombies
-I find something odd
-The entire street is littered with corpses, not a zombie in signt
-I didn’t kill any of these zombies but I quickly butcher them all
-As I approach the last corpse, I find my fallen guardian angel
-It was a moose corpse
Started a new game and the first thing I did was loot a nearby mansion and holy crap how many weapons there were.
I have a nodachi, a broadsword and three rapiers. Not to mention a bunch of guns including rivtech automagnum and 360 rotary carbine.
I’m a rootless wanderer, traversing the world in search of my previous character, who had so much cool stuff. After all this time I have encountered no familiar terrain but I travel ever onward.
Got my arm crippled by a lab turret and made the Mr. Stem Cell run, then took a few days off to heal up. I could have gone on a looting spree but my character just needed a rest, ya know? It’s been a hard few weeks. Why do I feel this way about an imaginary person?
Hmm. Tempted to grab the latest experimental and port a save over instead of starting fresh like I usually do. Bork Borg must live and suffer eternally. ;A;
Hmm. Tempted to grab the latest experimental and port a save over instead of starting fresh like I usually do. Bork Borg must live and suffer eternally. ;A;
Just an FYI, Yesterday’s experimental crashed about 4 times on me within an hour
Well, the one I got is dated today, and…it’s alive, aliiiive!
Only issue was an initial load error due to forgetting to also port of the Broken Cyborg mod, derp.
Wonder if I should fiddle around a bit with alpha mutagen before going elf-a. In any case, once I finish this current trip, I’ll try moving on to experimental instead of stable on the current world. It’s already spring, and my first second spring in a 91 day season game.
Finally yanked Acidic Discharge out after only a couple doses of savescumming.
That 79% chance of failure can suck it. =w=
EDIT: And I’m free from Itchy Metal Thing and Motor Control Overstimulator. Both of these hit their 21% on the first try, so no savescumming needed. o3o
