its letchal now? not only losing arms and geting 12000000000 of pain after few times?
It makes you cough, which I guess lowers torso HP. I’ve been killing infected NPCs lately, because they spam needing food constantly. They need it for the fungus to grow…

No, but the bug-fix unexpected cerebral hemorrhage will do it.
No, it said they died, not that their brain exploded. They died after coughing up one last hunk of grey goop.

Summer day 13. Kill count 589.
Congrats!

Step 1/120 to becoming a bionic god!
On a side note, I finally found Weather Reader CBM. How many CBMs are there now?
EDIT: ~83, I may have miscounted.
I decided to go for a no bow play (I’ve almost always used bow) and decided to go for a mostly melee play, now it goes fairly ok, tough zombie? easy minimal harm done to me, shrieker? meh. smoker zombie? pff.
Then I see a shocker brute. I’m wearing normal reinforced clothes and have level 2 in melee. Ya I’m running. I should probably try to get into the gun shops nearby, they’ll be useful for dealing with it…hopefully.
Edit: the gun shop I managed to find was the worst I could find at such a time. locked metal door windows with metal bars. There may be good stuff inside, but nothing I can safely get at this time.
Edit: Turns out both of them are like that. D: Are they all like that now? Makes sense I guess.
If you’ve plenty of burl and a sledgehammer just smash the wall in.
Sounds like a plan! :"D!
edit: Just saw a zombie dancer for the first time. Wherever the thriller is hope nothing happens to it. ;-; that wouldn’t be good for me.
I spawned a promising new survivor in one of those. Check the basement they said. Look at all the loot! Oh…crap.
Needless to say that lasted about 15 minutes in game.
I just killed a zombified shark with my tail.
I have ascended to the top of the food chain and then some.
Just found a town marred with craters and a new type of zombie. Which, looking at the description, makes me wonder if there’s something special about the town. Never seen these dudes before… fast, too. Oh, and I also started a character. He’s a bloody tank. 14 str, 14 dex, and a wrench. A bit slow, but faster than zombies still. I see bright things ahead for this man…
Curiosity strikes me, What is the zombie called.
In my adventures bweabewabewabewa
I got a little too close to a shocker brute and I decided that my only chance for survival was to run to the nearest NPC I barely made it only one | left on my head. but I survived, 3 days in. Things are tough but I grow stronger. :c I don’t think I could take another shocker brute. If shocker hulks are ever added I’m quiting. lel

The zombie is an irradiated wanderer. I’ll let you guess as to what it’s wearing.
As for my game… I found a damn BATTLEAXE in the local pawn shop. Looks like it’s time for Rudolf “Doomguy” Tacket to HACK AND SLASH! HACK AND SLAAAAASH! AHAHAHAHAHAH!
Edit: Annnnd I forgot to drop the C4… oops. RIP, Doomguy. You murdered zombies extremely well.
I moved into a nearby by mansion and discovered scabbards some suits of armor and a katana. This is very good.
I now have 2 pools for learning to swim and getting water, and an anthill not too far away making ants for me to nom on. Things are looking up, which can only mean one thing, that I’ll probably meet my first tank bot. That or things or going to be good.
As long as I can get my head healed up. :c That stupid shocker brute messed me up, and the other zombies didn’t leave my head alone either.
Just found a silo. Went into it, managed to pop the control console and nuked a Refugee camp. Because they started shooting at me when I came back with their precious food.
I’ve also discovered a Mansion literally next to the silo. I might move in come winter.
I’ve just managed to complete the installation of 24 pulse turret and one beam cannon onto my Iron Dragon. Took me 50 days to gather and craft the necessary ingredients, which includes triggering alarms on banks, gun stores, electronic stores and pawns shops to bait eyebots for their high quality lenses.
So many eyebots…
Anyway, the my doomwagon can now deliver a theoretical maximum of 2220 damage per turn, at range. I’ve debug in a hulk to test out it’s performance. Didn’t even last one turn before it got exploded into gibbets by the concentrated firepower of all 25 energy weapon turrets.
Now, all I need is to loot that road roller I saw back in the city for it’s drums and I can test the Dragon’s prowess against those dancers again…

That was me. Do note that those locked metal doors are pickable, so it’s not as bad. I also plan to add a looted version that’s open but has much less loot.
I’m curious how that balance change will play out, so keep updating on your progress?
Started a new character after getting mauled by a wolf, got lots of decent loot from a sporting goods store, amazingly enough there’s no shocker brutes, zombie hulks, tank drones, chicken walkers, or even a large number of zombies.
I’m sure when I go round the next corner I’ll be shot by a bunch of turrets though, or the next corner.
Discovered my frist steet blockade. Was riding on my motorbike that has a wooden frame added+ trunk to carry all the stuff I’m collecting (and probably never use) down the loooongest bridge I’ve ever seen. Pretty intense with 130 km/h and some control fumbling when trucks and cars block the way. Anyway at the end of the bridge I saw a lone zombie cop and 2 regular turrets. I SWEAR that Kevin said that you receive a warning in form of a red laser dot ! Well to that later. As I saw the enemies on my radar, I stopped immediately and caaarefully closed distance, waiting for aforementioned warning but to no avail. I wasn’t quite sure about their range and it was already dark. I was outside their light raidus however until I received 4 bursts. Really frustrating to be honest because I even waited for the warning but they just shot. Torso at : health I backed up a step and they could shoot again. Don’t know how I survived that but I immediately Injected that health injector thingy two times as well as an adrenaline shot (at least once my hoarding comes in handy). The Zombie Cop approached and my cap and ball paper cartridge revolver almost one shotted him with a head shot. 130 pain, by the way. Back at my bike I repaired my destroyed clothing which took ages due to pain and the stimulants wore off. My own blood splatters now showed the range and I calmly destroyed those mofo turrets with my flint lock rifle. (Paper cartridges are damn good by the way. Just disassemble a library and all ammo you find and you can sit back and use two weapons - one rifle for range and one revolver for last ditch weapon))
Not an experience I’d want again. I won’t ever again engage with turrets of any sort until I can somehow see their range or they warn you.
Start of day 3. It was snowing, so going outside was a REALLY bad idea, since cold makes you slower. So i start to wait a bit, and then decided to wait next to an open window. Yeah, bad move, right? Agree.
A survivor intimidated me to drop my nail bat, said me to go away(he ENTERED the shelter -___-) and then… well, this happened:

Yes. The NPC KILLED HIMSELF. I left his body outside as a warning, but now i’m worried that his brother might see it and want revenge…
