Just came across quantum vending machine. I am now unhappy owner of about 400 cans of various drinks.
Well this just happened. Went downstairs into a basement, seemed pretty average with shitty books and such, then I found this in one of the shelves:
Guess I won’t need to worry about ammo anymore? Pretty good find for some random crappy basement, and really random too. Unless this is quite a recent feature of RANDOM AWESOME AMMO CACHE which I’m grateful for! Now my Jotaro character can shoot bitches whilst smoking joints daily!
i heard someone recently talking about adding weapons as a rare spawn in book cases.
Found some Swappable Storage Battery Cases recently… …no idea what the fuck they are or what they’re for… …but I’m taking them.
They are also craftable.
Now strain your phantasy a bit.

…Wat.
Also, just woke up to a horde of cop-bots outside the house I took shelter in over-night. Apparently three eyebots managed to float into the room I was in as I came in and were photographing me sleeping.
Apparently it’s a crime to sleep in this apocalypse as a giant lizard thing. One that requires the attention of half the police force.
In my new non-LP world (Insch), I decided to try a more challenging character build, by picking the Scoundrel class and only giving myself 6 points to work with (Along with a number of negative and positive traits for roleplay). I turned the spawn rate up to 0.7 from my previous setting of 0.3, just to ease into a more challenging experience. The next Let’s Play series I run, I’ll probably tune this back up to 1.0 and just go for as vanilla an experience as possible. It’s between that or disabling Slow Zombies. Or possibly both!
Anyways, in Insch, I went for an archery build as described on the Day One Survival tips thread, and somehow managed to survive my first foray into the town. Over the course of almost a week, I’ve secured a house for myself, killed numerous zombies with field-point arrows (Including a zombie brute), gotten some well-reinforced and fitted clothing, and apart from having some trouble finding food, I’m doing pretty well for myself!
I also just started applying my Mechanical knowledge after grabbing the tools I needed (Did a quick grab-and-run at a hardware store), and have disassembled some of the cars outside my house, and I’m planning on repurposing some of the materials to make a solar-powered worklight in my house - charge during the day, illuminate at night time, that’s the plan at least. I need to find some jumper cables and duct tape first, though.

You can install the case and then just snap the batteries into and out of it as needed, no tools required. Handy if your generator is far enough away that jumpers aren’t a good option.
And yeah, a giant lizard-thing sleeping in a house would be a call to Animal Control at least, if not XEDRA.

Great, now all I can image is the cop-bots spouting these lines
Everything is the enemy would be a serious lore change :3
…Not really. XD

Well, they got set in “Murder, kill, destroy” mode on anything registering as human… …which apparently I do… before the cataclysm, so yeah. XD
Well i guess thats a lil grey area.
Yeah because they apparently have no problem with NPCs.

My only friend blows himself up with a Molotov in the apocalypse
My reaction: “Nice, some leather gloves!”
It is mid winter, after finally finding a wrench and building myself a bolt-driver I have come across a refugee camp, lets hope their willing to take a mewtant in.
