On a related note, I made a Marine character.

I found a Humvee about 7 tiles outside of a city, ran back into town to grab a gallon jug from a dead gang, filled it with gasoline, then ran back and refilled the thing with gas. The zombies apparently didn’t want this to happen, and I was running about with an infected arm most of the time. After all that kerfluffle, I went to go start my new Humvee.

Much fun was had navigating through wrecked and abandoned vehicles in that city, though I got out alive.

And then I came across a dead military fireteam. I got out to scavenge the ID cards and armor, but apparently wolves had other ideas.

Well it’s a nasty winter in a desert and the thing spawned me out in the middle of fuck-all nowhere. Recruited the local static NPC in front of the enclosed shelter and took a long, cold, agonizing walk east down the road to find something.

Lady did great, until she tried to shoot a skeleton, and I just watched it eat her. Then I bapped it with a hammer and it kinda crumbled for me. Then my character ate the body. Delicious flesh.

Been cooped up in this dinky little down with 1 single house, managing food and working through a cold my poor dear caught. Poor baby. She’s living off fish and the last of the expired residents of the local manhole next to a river. A bit deprived of supplies, but she’s doing well for what she has. Really only need a hacksaw to get going places. I wanna get her a box to roll around so bad, she’s just a tiny thing and can barely carry a bear trap with all her gear on.

Also, she just made it about 90% of the way through a hospital with nothing but a bear trap composed of lawnmower parts and a combat knife. No special armor or nothing. My angel’s such a badass. @w@

Game crashed most of the way through. Am VERY glad I turned on autosaves.

I am currently taking apart a laboratory… literrary taking all i can that isn t attached to the floor… uh including things that where attached to the floor… like consoles and turrets (hacked deactivated and taken with me + ammo) + stealing all manhacks… and plastik items o.o. All your plastik is belong to Valpo .

Its like looting a candy store.

i got the mocle the hat the dog whistle a jet injector an 4 ampules and a granade.
no reactors … seen the gun left it lieing where it was…

The reactor is definatly rare as fuck… i have up till now only ever found one in all my games-

I would like to add the laser rifle.

I’ve found one minireactor (in 0.8, IIRC.), 2 elephant guns, quite a few monocles, granades, three(!) dog whistles, top and bowler hats, and one fish bowl.

Makes more sense I guess. I never go to hospitals as I could never justify the trouble of clearing one but now I guess I shall. Seems silly that I can’t find one in a doctor’s office though.

Yeah actually never found one there and i remember clearing 3 of them on a bad day scenario on the hunt for antibiotics… xD didn t find antibiotics either though >.>

ampiules for jet injector are common just look at firestadions if they are rare stethoscope should be too no the list even if i find 1 in every hospital and sometimes in doctor office

granades are not too rare but come in small quantines i mostly find one per grenade spawn in military bunker for easy acces need at least 1 military id and something to break glass(jackhammer, resonator, pickaxe) or card reader (sledgehammer)
