I just rammed a zombie through another zombie.
KV-4 ftw. And it’s not even finished yet…

In my randomly generated apocalypse. I had set my world to the auto surrounded, gods let me tell you that it was so fricking difficult. Got chased by about two dozen zeds, and I kept leading them away so that I could loot one or two 2x4’s off the benches. Two NPC’s come in, One Grandmaster, and another with an UZI. Entire horde gone within seconds. But the thing is, soon as I went to greet them, Minefield. Nearly bleeds to death. Loses leg. Hellish adventure with the Grandmaster, I got my leg back. Pats self on back for adventure…
Falls in sinkhole.
Started next to a 5 building sized town that I quickly looted and cleared out. Didn’t find anything of much value in the town, no guns or much tools, but luckily I managed to find a car that could work for me if I just got it gas. So I siphoned gas from all the cars I could find and got my tank up to about 8%. Packing in some food for the journey, I headed off onto the road, going down the road looking for another town. Now I have never been in a swamp before, so I was not expecting the horde of swamp creatures so thick that they blotted out the road. By the time I had noticed I had no choice but ram through them all. My car managed to barely make it through and I thought I was in the safe until a bear came out onto the road and the collision with that was the final straw that killed my engine. After quickly gathering up whatever food I had stored in my car, I quickly dashed out as a pack of dogs chased after me. I had luckily found a radio station just up ahead that gave me shelter. Now I am stranded from my own base, the only way back is through the swamp or risk the dense forest. My only supplies on me are a little big of food, my clothes, and a spear. Looks like I am going to have to continue on my path on foot.
Best option, watch out for zoose.
I am not late enough into the game to face zombie animals yet thankfully, but I have had enough games ended by bears or mooses to want to go through the forest.
I mean seriously I have been wandering a city late at night filled with zombies and encountered a bear in the middle of the street, tgose bears are ninjas.

I just found a tank drone. What should I do to it?
Bribe it (aka beat it to death with a money bundle).
I’ll have to debug myself in a money bundle, as I haven’t found on since I started looking for it. I’m gonna beat it to death with a money bundle. CAPITALISM!

Nope. Even my experimental which is nearly a month old has some pretty brutal swarms.
Although I don’t know if it an increased spawn rate, or simply a massive number of initial creatures.
[Edit] Because double-posting is bad mmmkay.
Day 20 of summer. Crops still haven’t grown, and my strawberry/blueberry plantation hasn’t even sprouted!
In the past 10 days I have finished my Meth-Lab-turned-crafting-station, and fixed up my scooter-turned-bicycle. After spending an entire day playing with a remote-controlled car (what do you mean it doesn’t give a morale boost?), and another day painting part of one wall of my house blue, I decided to go exploring.
Found a stash underneath an evac shelter, and a survivors map. Took note of the gun stores on the map, and left a note on a cash card, with a pot thanking the nice person who made that map. Yay! Found a gun store which was on the edge of a tiny town.
On Day 20 I picked up 21 aspics, some light survival gear, and traveled down on my bicycle to the gun store. Couldn’t find a way around the hordes (which completely covered the town), so decided to make a pit ring in order to hold the zombies off.
Kept on getting raided by zombies while creating my pit fort. And when it turned out that zombie necromancers can raise pulped corpses, for example a pulped shocker brute, I decided to get the hell out of dodge, and that is where I am now. Fleeing for my life. I will probably drive for about 3 hours to a small town that is thankfully free of zombies (I already cleared it out), and reinforce that place so I can fight the zombies on my terms. Zombie hordes are fast, as I found out in one of my previous playthroughs, so I probably won’t have much time. But if I do, then I will take it happily!
Thank goodness for caffeine pills! [/Edit]
Downloaded latest experimental and decided to go with bionic assassin to try out some bionics as I haven’t really fooled with them before. Bionic assassin is stupid fun to start out with. Cleared a couple of houses with absolute ease the only trouble being a brute who bitch smacked into a car and even he fell.
Now off to clear a mansion that I spotted on out to read books, grind tailoring and plan next move.
Followed a thriller zombie through a city when…
WILD TANK DRONE APPEARS!!
Now I’m running for my life 'cause the tank drone killed the thriller zombie and the zombie hulks are behind me while they’re being massacred by tank drone’s 120mm cannon!
Tank drone: “Who is your daddy!?”
I fucking love this game!
Holy crap. Fast zombies, wandering hordes and city size 16 is brutal, but I guess I should mention I’m only playing with mundane zombies. For the first week or so my character was living in the sewers, behind those metal doored access tunnels, making nightly runs up to the surface for supplies(those vending machines at the subway shelters were essential). In the first few days I was able to grab a M103A Automagnum(thank God for Rivtech), and then some time later a couple more rifles. Was mostly using baseball bats as a melee weapon. Starting off with them I had to retreat to recover quite a bit because of the slow attack speed, but eventually they became really useful for blocking.
Around day I got ballsy and made a forward outpost in an abandoned store front, the pre-boarded windows made it a logical choice. Lined the ground outside the windows with spiked planks and eventually moved my stuff from the sewers up there. Spent a few more days in there collecting stuff when I realized there was a mostly built motorcycle in the next door garage, all it needed was a seat. “No problem I’ll just make one, all I need is a few springs.” So I made a daring run into the inner city housing district in search of a lawnmower. Made a mistake and popped up in a subway terminal that had a huge horde milling around. They chased me back down and into the sewage system relentlessly, luckily I was able to overcome my Too Good to Use Syndrome and just laid waste to my pursuers. Once in the housing area I quickly spotted a shed, had to dance around a little bit with the zombies to get in. (Does leaving a light on outside the reality bubble cause some lighting bugs? The weather was clear out, but I was getting some weird lighting from inside houses as well as cars, and I don’t mean headlights.) Dismantled the the mower with the zombies right on top of me, grabbed the springs(or did I…? Did I freaking grab the engine instead!? I did! >(<) and got the hell out of there.
Once back at the garage I remembered I dragged a scooter in off the road into a bowling alley because I was planning on studying it to memorize how vehicle part placement works, So instead I salvaged the seat from that and replaced the seat on the motorcycle. Filled it up with all my crap and gasoline and made my escape. Along the way I ran into a roadblock turret that almost shot me down. Also had the puny engine die on me, but luckily I was out of the city limits by then. Salvaged a better engine and am now resting at an outer city office tower. Think I’m gonna make this place home.
On city size 16 there IS no “outer city” or city limits, the whole world is one big city!

Oh crap… well this is the area I’ve decided counts as “outer limits” I seen somewhere there was way to reduce the size of images, but I can’t find it. How’s that done?
Ok, I’ve never played on 16 before so I thought there were no field squares. I was wrong.
Dat tank drone.
That’s the funniest thing I’ve seen all week.
Year 1, Summer 3, 31-day seasons.
After travelling through forest borders, empty streets and finding out that labs now have turrets inside the first floor by default(OUCH! OUCHOUCHOUCH), what nearly killed weren’t zombies, but influenza. Thankfully a motel was close, and lots of lemonade and sleep healed me in the end.
Now i found, after so much time, another big city, with a REFUGEE CENTER \o/ next to it and the most dense proportion of gunblazing hostile NPCs per map square i’ve ever seen in my life .-. Ok, three around the center, but let’s remember: guns kill people. I only have a pistol and a few explosives as ranged options. They have shotguns and machine guns.
Will try to help the center, but FIRST, have to create a safe way to enter in it without gunblazing crazy people close…
