What's Happening in YOUR Randomly-generated Apocalypse?
Day 3 summer, Kyla Sands (the naturalist) is still holed up in NW portion of town. Read up on some books, especially What’s a Transistor, scouted out a bit, only to find a shocker brute is in the way to SW portion, and NE is off-limits due to a large number of blobs and a slime pit.

Still haven’t had time to go back to the farm and pick up stuff nor to pick up guns from LMOE shelter basement. Going to either of those is pretty far and involves avoiding mi-gos.

Luckily I have a katana. Gonna cut some zeds to pieces and then take on those pesky underworld inhabitants.
before going to fight mi-go grind some mele on blobs

So I just initiated combat with a horde I drew with a bionic-powered noise emitter. All I could imagine was This (warning: Loud as fuck) playing.

I found a camera. I’m having way too much fun collecting photos of every critter. I’m not sure how I should feel about the fact that almost all of my photos are of things right before they died at my hands…

That could be really useful for finding what weaknesses monsters might have, like a zombie’s brain is its weak point so maybe your character imagines how to better hit the zombie’s head using the picture.

rather then a foto … taking apart the corpse and understanding it would help. You wont get much knowledge about weaknesses just by looking at a picture.

but it is a lot safer, being able to quickly take a picture without being seen and study whats on it for use hopping out and fighting later

Goddman reptile eggs are a pain to find…

I finde them in abundance.

Found an RM13 suit sitting outside a wasp house within ten minutes of starting a new game, and I managed to get it without aggroing the bugs.

No plutonium cells but it’s still damn good armor.

“You dream of recruiting a cult of fish-folk to serve your needs.”

I love whoever did the mutation dreams :3

Cephalopod, post-Thresh. Remind me once the stable finally lands: we could probably use more than two dreams per stage per category, especially once you hit stage 3 and get a few of them per sleep.

Autumn[1] has just started for my Alpha mutant survivor, and I’ve decided to try my hands at artifact farming at a nearby mine. Unfortunately, the sound of my deathmobile entering the parking lot has attracted a horde to my location.

It turns out that the ring of telepads I set up were not a perfect defense after all. But the intermittent telefragging is satisfying to see, nonetheless.

Sooooo when did Granades start spawning bees? Made it 10 steps before i couldn’t move and was at 1100 pain withing a minute. Still, i suppose its why i love this game XD

Has been like this since i found granade fpor the first time . Threw it the first time thinking it is a normal grenade and getting my first result bees… joy and happyness followed suit.

Lab challenge: Day 5, finally find everything I need to make dynamite and escape. I’ve got maybe one day of food left so this is important. Make a few dynamite, hit up the barracks I found. Find a m14EBR and ammo for it to kill that pesky front door turret.

Escape the lab.
Dodge a bat.
Cataclysm.exe has stopped working.

About to try getting back into the game as Olivia Pierce, Pacifist Pizza Girl. Gonna try and live off RUNNING THE HELL AWAY FROM HORDES and having NPCs fight for me. Let’s see how this gooooes.

And people thought shoggoths were bad, there’s no way to defeat the crash except by pure luck (and lots of bug reporting, I 'spose).
