Just started a new character. Go figure, no mechanics skill yet. And… hoooooly crap.

Edit: And in the very same garage a half-minute later, I found a 7.6 liter engine. What the hell were these guys building?

Also for some reason I’m having a lot of trouble with reading books on my new character: it’s her only real flaw. Her Intelligence is decent, it’s at 9 (Randomly-generated char, normally I bump them up to 13 intelligence) and she has no other visible effects, but she seems to get through books stupidly slowly, even ones that are at or below her intelligence and skill level.

As for me, I’ve found a truck trailer in the second city I’ve hit, so I’m remaking it to be my new electric car/mobile base.

Light level affects reading speed, but I also suspect there’s a bug involved. (When you say stupidly slow, you mean your skill % isn’t increasing every X minutes the read time is set as, right?) I’m going to update my thread about this.

Sweet! I was wondering when they would make it into the game.

Anyway, for whatever reason all of my deep wounds are suddenly clearing up and my guy takes like 3 turns to get over badly poisoned. Don’t really know why, I guess he’s just suddenly very healthy.

Check your mutations? There are ones to reduce/negate infections and poisoning.

i only saw some old guns in mainsion only one time i saw some armor and boardswords at enterance sometimes but still rare in some rooms i see modern guns mostly hunting weapons

Well, directly outside the garage where I found the 7.89 liter and 7.6 liter V8s, I then found a cop car with a 7.75 liter in it. What the heck, prior to this the biggest I can remember seeing was in the high 6s. Are huge engines just more common now, or is this just luck?

Nope, I guess my dude was just being really badass that day, cause the effect has mostly worn off.

Also, in some town I found some kind of hoard of zombie ghosts!
