Crossed arachnid threshhold and managed to get bionic power up to 100 (also farmed artifacts a little).
Now weaving web-fences while trying to find plutonium for my generator and atomic control laptop.
Also, managed to find a Mark 19 Grenade Launcher.

In my apocalypse… bad things happened(and they might me bugs):
So, i took a break from playing cata, loaded the last save aaand… something felt weird to me. I checked my character’s status (@)and for some reason my intelligence fell from ten to FIVE, my strength rose from eight to ten and my dexterity rose from ten to twelve. But that wasn’t all. For some reason, my move cost was 135 and all skills = 0. I checked my map. It looked as if my character just spawned in the world (only a small area was shown and all parts that i previously discovered were black). Went outside. “Oh, a child zombie… wait, why does it move three tiles when i only move one?!”. I tried to attack it - it gave me 20 damage(i had pretty good armor that even tough zombies barely scratched). I tried to run - more zombies appeared and ganged up on me, tearing my equipment apart. Now they performed up to eight actions when i performed one. I tried to savescum to save myself. When i loaded the game… my equipment was as torn apart as it was the moment i exited the game
FYI, i didn’t alter any of the game’s files or anything like that and it was the latest stable version.
Well, at least it gave me a good excuse to try out that experimental build… but i still got pissed

weight was ok, encumberance was just 2 points above max(before zombies ripped my backpack apart).

my fully functional electric car, found on the road, refuses to behave under any circumstances. I accelerate, gently, the engine sneezes and dies. The weird shit is that it worked just fine when i found it, but after 1 day or so of driving i had to give it up.

Charge where it needs to be, everything above 50% intact? If so, it might be a buggy PR.

it has 1 broken window, 1 broken solar panel and 1 broken box. Everything else is from yellow to green. (engine is light green). So idk what’s the problem.

OK, checked and the PR I thought might be the culprit hasn’t actually landed. How badly damaged are the batteries? There’s code to have them auto-discharge based on damage, so that might be causing problems.

Yeah, but the thing is the horde is long gone. It has been gone for ages. I’m still getting zombies in the AO. I tried leaving for a while to see if they’d despawn like the old dynamic spawns and they haven’t. I’m still getting trickles of zombies.

If those are your only batteries, then it should work if sufficiently charged. Apart from that, I don’t know what to tell you. Sorry.

Just starting playing again. I made a tank character named, “Captain McChopchop” He’s a psychopath with Schizophrenia, and is very trigger happy and gets pissed off right quick.

I also made him a drunken master since I do drink booze a lot in this game.

Made him a shower victim and hopped into the game.

I start with nothing in the Evac shelter but that quickly changes. I walk outside to find a group of dead scientists. I get some clothes purifiers and loads of sunglasses, along with some water.

I walk a further bit down to find a large pile of dead gang members.

I’m now high as a kite on Crack and Heroine, while chopping up zombies with a sweet Katana.

Why the fuck did I quit this game?
