[/spoiler]This was about the awesomest game I had ever had, brought to an end when I tried to drop to many items at once after smashing a vending machine. Fucking Cop Bots.

How do you make reinforced stuff?

Apply a sewing kit/wooden needle/bone needle/soldering iron/welder to the item of your choice.

You can reinforce weapons aswell.

NPCs keep spawning in my LMOE shelter (three so far) and they are usually not friendly.
Fortunatly I have many guns and much ammo.

On a side note, I have discovered (or think I discovered it, you guys mighta found it already) a bug that allows you to destroy metal doors without explosives or fire/vechicular destruction/teleportation by boarding them up. It turns them into regular doors, which can be smashed open.

Was puttering around town and when i come back a Z horde is around my LMOE shelter.
Ended up having to abandon it in exchange for a nomadic lifestyle, then found another near a river, living there now (along the way got some artifacts including a “npc artifact”, a buggy flaming hunk of steel that burned forever until it didnt).

BTW I tested the RM combat armour on a different character it was the most hilariously overpowered thing i have ever seen. I tested it by (I tested this with cheats (for the stuff)),

1: Activating c-4
2: Holding the c-4
3: Not dieing when it blows me to kingdom come (almost broke an arm though)
4: Beating all of the start zombies to death with a piece of rebar and not taking any damage (at all, PERIOD)

Is it game breaking or am I being a noob?

I also found an artifact, a glowing urchin. It makes me genetically unstable and seems to randomly flashbang my face. It’s activated ability appears to be an instant crash to desktop.

So it’s a spiky ball of mutation and alt-F4 that likes to blow up in my face. I’ve had worse artifacts I guess.[/spoiler]

My Apocalypse: got out, looted some houses, found a liquor store, hauled the liquors back, killed some Zs, made some tainted tornado, started playing mutie roulette, got FNV, Disease Immune & Deformed.
Now waiting for the side-effects of the tornado to wear off.

I’m on the west edge of Raccoon Freakin’ City, that’s what. Two and a half map screens of dense urban development. it’s probably three size-4 cities lumped together; i’ve mapped most of one. my sports car is parked outside a mansion to the southwest, with a flat battery(yellow). I spent a whole night installing headlights at every conceivable angle(in the middle of a schizophrenic episode), then went to bed and when i woke up it wouldn’t start and i was out of duct tape. so i hoofed it back into RACCOON FREAKIN’ CITY(i have hooves) and have been looting and killing for a day or two. I have the japanese armorsmithing book, so i’ma train up fabrication and become samurai!

You could just make a spotlight.
