A constant barn-like stench around him constantly. When he opened that door in the science lab trying to outrun a zombie hulk and a turret took his whole head off with one blast, it was probably a mercy. RIP, Erekose, you poor bastard.

Wandered out of the Evac shelter to a massive horde coming my way. In the path between me and shelter, an artifact field.
I retrieved the Artifact.
“Whispering Helix”
The upside is it turns /anything/ friendly for a short period of time
The downside is it does this by “Screaming Disturbingly”
I have acquired the Helix Fossil of Twitch and have deployed it to remove hordes, it’s working- slowly.
Screams do nothing but disturb you (huehuehuheuheuheheu).
(And I haven’t seen you in a while, Ekarus! :D)

I had an artifact like that once and it was sweet. I can’t remember the downside, but I know there was one.

I’ve been avoiding the forums mainly because I didn’t need the anger the “Suggestions” section gave me, I get plenty pissed off at work. Not sure how long I’ll stick around this time, but I’ll try.
Getting back on topic, I managed to clear out the horde using the Helix Stone, pitting my army of the undead against an army of ants.
The ants won, but only for now…

So… I was walking about in what appears to be a clonning lab (low temperature and all), just tested the RM13 Combat armour and it fared quite well against the turrets. This of course isn’t my main point, I also heard a Mi-Go say “Have you done this before?” and “Do you smoke?”. I dunno if it’s true but it seems that these creatures mimic what the scientists say so yeah, virgin scientists getting it on the lab aparently is cannon in my world now lol.
i looted the mines and got around 22 spiral stones and 5 vortex stones, now hauling them back home that’s at least 10 miles away… by swimming in a river (gills FTW)
I just started, and lost, a new character… Apparently, somebody built the shelter just west of a megastore, down the street from an apartment (to the east), and one street over from a hospital (north). But it wasn’t the zombies that got me. Nope, that honor goes to the moose just past the minefield that was set up to the south.
