My most successful character so far, Alex, just died. Alex was a simple man, his life goal was to get a truck working. He camped in the back of it. Stored all of his personal belongings and everything he would need to get this truck working in the back. Daily, he read book on mechanics, made trips to the nearby town scavenging for supplies. After 5 hard days of work, he finally had enough supplies to get the truck working and enough food and water to live for weeks. Of course, it couldn’t be that simple. So, at the first sight of a military encampment, he drove that truck full speed into a wall of turrets. Losing his arm in the process, he stumbled away only to be chased for miles by a single zombie soldier. He eventually made it to a lab where he decided that this would be his final resting place. In the basement, Alex found a small terminal. From prior experience he knew that there would be a security system that would activate with a wrong password. He entered in as many wrong passwords as he could until the whole room was filled with manhacks and secubots. Within seconds of taking 1 step, Alex was no more.
