So, every time i kill a squirrel with my crude sword in .9-4752-g5865106, my sword drops where it was.
Might be getting stuck.
This. Edged weapons can get stuck in your enemies, causing you to drop them and then presumably be killed by the squirrel in question.
Didnt happen to the larger animals such as dogs and meese i killed earlier
Quickly tested it, 10 dead squirrels, no dropped weapon.
Does it say the weapon gets stuck? And what is your strength, skill in melee and cut and bash?
It doesnt say, strenght 15, skill in melee:2 - 4 (i was grinding to make it acceptable with high-encumberment), Skill in cut:2, Skill in bash:1

It doesn’t say? That is quite odd. It should say it (have not played with getting stuck weapons for some time).
And with the high str, it should not even get stuck at all.
Which version are you running? an expermental build or just 0.9?
