NPC dialogue -> combat commands -> engagement rules -> attack only enemies you can reach without moving.
They also might be trying to smash/pulp a corpse, if not trying to kill an undead one like said above. I tend to ask them to leave corpses alone until I have a bunch of corpses to butcher, then turn it on. I killed one of my first followers by running into him after he jumped out of the car to fight or smash or something, while turning so he had an open diagonal square to move through the car like a ghost.
I think I saw something about “auto- butcher” and/or “auto-pulp” in the patch notes I was reading last night, so might now have a reason to just leave them on never smash and engage close enough to attack without moving. Then open and close doors is still an option I would need to change for them occasionally, I wish you could call out to all your followers at once and give them all one command.
Are mutagens midgame contents? Or endgame? How can I know if im ready to use them?
is there a benefit in the blood effect from an artifact?
I think the blood fields can overwrite acid fields.
used to smell too. throwing off your own scent
I’d consider mutagens to be mid-game (just starting out) to end-game (Purposefully breaking a chosen threshold).
Do you have either a) robust genetics or b) the ability to make an arbitrary amount of purifier and a safe place to do so? You’re ready.
If you have robust genetics, you can usually get away with dabbling a bit even in the early game, if you happen to find some.
If you have more purifier than mutagen, you can try some pretty safely.
Serious mutagen usage (like trying to break a threshold or getting a fairly tailored set of mutations) is usually considered late game, as it generally requires lots of supplies, high skills, lots of time, a chem set, and a safe place to get strung out.
pks mod should make it available for midgame characters if you can find the books or powerlevel.
at 2 cooking you can craft flavored mutagen with blobs or tainted tallow, ammonia, and whatever themed item the flavor requires
Does the Chest Rig only hold 1 mag? Back in my army days our chest rig could hold 8 mags, 2 in each pouch with 4 pouchs on the rig…
Do i have to make the Chest Rig and 8 chest ammo pouchs and just imagen they are sown on?

I think the main reason it’s like that is it allows addition item storage + a magazine also I don’t know if it is possible to have a rig with multiple ammo pouches in the same way as you can have a belt that can sheath a knife and a sword at the same time (since those are separate holsterables)

This, plus yeah, it’s mainly a coding restraint in how holsterables work.
Also the entire ‘survivors store tin cans of beans in chest rigs because more food > more ammo’ thing. Restricting it to only holding ammo, or having to code in removing a number of holstered mags due to storage used, would be a nightmare.
I do think it should have more storage, though. As it is it’s barely better than a tool belt or the like IIRC.
My original wood door broke down and I’m trying to replace it with a metal one, but it wouldn’t let me build. I checked that i have all the resources and skills, but I can’t build there.

Yea, I just figured that out, but thanks anyway.
No problem _Rogue. Trust be, I learned that one the hard way many times…
I’m waiting out a rain/thunderstorm in m tent but I’m still getting wet or at least not drying. (Still got the wet -10 morale malus)
Bug or intended?
use a towel?
You don’t need towels to dry. Waiting inside usually does the trick. My question was about tents.
Is the malus increasing? If it is, then you’re still getting wet. The other way to test what’s happening, as has been suggested, is to activate a towel to dry yourself of (removing the malus) and then seeing if it comes back.
There’s a chance you might be in a damaged tent.
